Great experience cooking your own meat and fish, as long as you have someone who knows how to cook it. Due to the cuts, it takes minutes to cook, but table space is limited, so best to keep ordering, rather than all up front. We had a number of noodle and rice dishes, all were excellent.Fabulous range of drinks too, especially in the non alcoholic fizzy range.

One of the worst Korean I ever had, Beef rib texture tasted like soft rubber, Beef bibimbap was served without chilli sauce. And they may have forgotten my order on cold noodle, And after three chases, got it from next table. And the noodle was just like in over dosed chilli sauce And not served as scissors cutted at table. Avoid for sure

A good start for anyone who likes the idea of Korean BBQ. Food was good and of expected quality. I ordered the seafood platter as our main and some pork dumplings as a starter. All of the tables have an in-built grill to use for your raw platters. as a personal preference I would have liked the heads removed from the prawns but I suppose it's part of the experience of getting stuck in. The main dish was accompanied by a raw onion and dressing salad as well as a savoury and Korean chilli sauce which didn't pack a wallop but was rather a pleasant accompaniment to the food. In terms of drinks there are a wide range so feel free to explore if you'd like to.In terms of service there was a table buzzer which didn't seem to work and I felt the staff to be rather shy unless called over. Something perhaps to be improved upon.Overall it is a good place with good food and don't be shy about letting the servers know that you are ready to order. However I would suggest a word of caution. Take a spare change of clothes since you will be smelling like BBQ by the end of it.

Absolutely amazing! It was so fun being able to cook the food yourself! The atmosphere was really friendly, and the seasoning was on point! Definitely recommend anyone visiting Reading for the first time or wanting to try Korean food! Really cool experience and looked amazing in pics

Clean, friendly staff and no service charge. If there was an extraction for the smoke from the bbq then that would be best as our clothes wouldn’t smell. The cold noodles wasn’t authentic, there was sliced apple instead of Korean pear and the noodles were over cooked.

Calm ambience, clean and beautifully decorated. Staff were friendly and helpful. I think the owners personally greeted us. Food and drinks were amazing as usual. I think the portion size was a little too much for me but it was enough for my husband so a big thumbs up!

Best Korean Restaurant in Reading.A must go.fulfilled my Hunger for Korean fried chickens.Issue is the sides aren't complimentary when it's common in Korean restaurants. There's also a lack of lettuce portions in the Grill.

The BEST Korean restaurant I’ve ever been to. I’ve been here a couple of times with friends of the years and I must say I really love it here. The food, the service, the vibe it’s all there and you get the essence of Korea as soon as you walk through the doors. The barbecue was delicious, I couldn’t stop chowing down. The waiters for very kind and always ready to help us out if we needed anything. Most certainly won’t be the last time I’ll come to SOJU. This is the spot if you’re down in Reading. Big up SOJU every single time!!!

I like the ambience of the place. It was neat. We didn't have much interactions with the staff so I can't say much about them.I ordered tteobokki and my friend, short beef rib soup with rice. The soup was really delicious. The tteobokki wasn't the best tteobokki I've ever had but it wasn't bad neither. We had Makgeolli too, which was delicious. The cost of food is fair too.

We had beef bibimbap, seafood bibimbap and some bbq beef. Food was decent however rating reflects:1. Stingy portion of veggie and meat portions in the bibimbaps2. Grill didn’t work properly, we were made to grill the meat on top of a black plastic sheet rather than directly. The sheet was never hot enough and the beef wasn’t grilled properly.3. Slow service and disinterested waiters who just ignored usOverall a disappointing experience. Photos better than reality.
