The Three Tuns in Reading

Popped in about 8pm for dinner whilst away on business and we were adequately fed with a couple of steak pies, a lovely burger and a lamb shank. Food was lovely and no complaints from us four. Lovely gravy with the shank and a nice couple of beers each too. Recommended.

Absolutely shocked at the customer service here. When a mistake was made, instead of helping, all that was done was arguing from the staff both in person, via email and on the phone. I was a loyal customer for years before Covid with a big group of us (10+) attending the pub quiz and spending a lot of money every week. We will not be returning to this pub again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Not only are the staff very friendly and the atmosphere very conducive but to top it all they maintain a good range of bitter which are kept really well. Two excellent pints consumed - reluctantly had to leave but wanted more. We'll be back again soon.

Nice pub, good atmosphere- food nice but I wouldn't recommend Eton mess - think there was a total of one strawberry in it! Apart from this had lovely evening.

Thank you to all the staff at the three tuns. I had my 30th birthday party here and had the best night. All the staff were lovely and nothing was any trouble. Food was amazing and the atmosphere was fantastic! So thank you again!

Lovely pub!Have been visiting the Three Tuns for several years now, and it has gone from strength to strength over the last few years. Warm and welcoming staff, great atmosphere, good food and drinks selections, very dog friendly - they even came round with doggy treat in an ice cube on a hot day! Can't wait for pub quiz to be back!

Visiting for a group Christmas dinner, the atmosphere was welcoming, with the food served pleasant to taste and sight, a decent selection of beverages and service with a warm smile. Lighting was good (if you're a fan of pubs where you can barely see an inch in front of you, sorry) and sound wise, while there was a rather intense murmur from the quantity of attending patrons, never became unbearable.

Friendly pub that can get busy at peak times- so call ahead. Food is reasonably priced with very generous portions and tasty. Menu also gets updated quite often. Does a 10 % discount for students and NHS staff as an added bonus.

Hired the function part for my son's christening and I couldn't fault the staff especially the manager she went above and beyond to help and make sure everything was perfect will definitely hire again in future and definitely recommend to friends and family
