Haven't been here for years, on this visit there was an excellent choice of beers. The bar person was friendly and chatty. Looking forward to going back when music is on.

The whole pub smells like damp and mould. My pint tasted off and the table was dusty. Go down the road to the lyndhurst far better pub it dosent smell bad and they serve a decent pint.

Was OK had football on which was what we wanted it for as our usual place was a bit quiet for a Good Friday

Decent pub but crying shame it didn’t open for the crowd watching the half marathon as it has in previous years. Missed a trick there

A really great local pub, always a great selection of drinks, really friendly and welcoming staff makes you feel at home. Does everything from games, pool, darts, sports, live music and karaoke - not to mention a great food service too.

Really enjoyed a visit yesterday. Very friendly and welcoming. The Exmoor Gold was excellent. Much larger inside than you might expect with comfortable seating. A short menu but very reasonably priced. We had hot and tasty bowls of soup.

I got a very warm welcome upon my recent visit. It was a while since I had been, but the recent change in proprietor has been good. There are now well-kept ales which they are passionate about keeping well, and the place is very clean. I'll be glad to come back.

Large selection of drinks at reasonable prices, really friendly staff, great pub grub and a welcoming vibe from the cosy interior. All this, a pool table and live sports? What more could you physically ask for?

Great little pub,had a nice curry and watched Liverpool stuff Atheletico Madrid,very good night.Also pretty quiet which for me was just fine.
