Booked a table, upon arrival there wasn't even anyone to greet and show our table, we had to walk round the venue trying to find it. After placing our order we waited too long, about 45+ minutes to only find that the food we ordered is either burnt or over cooked. The primary reason seemed to be that the staff aren't willing to accept any customers for the evening in which case they could have closed it rather than keeping it open and making customers not welcome.If you are after some reheated food, this is the place you need to go. Kids didn't even touch the burnt, reheated food.You can find way better ones than this. Do skip until this place gets a revamp of chef and staff.

If there was a "0" ,I would give that. This is not the place it used to be before Covid. The food was burnt and tasted reheated. The chips were cooked with old oil and tasted stale. We had stomach cramps after we left. Not worth the money. Wouldn't recommend.

Had to find a table girl behind bar really didn't want to be there sent my dinner back as chips had seen better days got "fresh' lot under cooked chicken was only warm the best thing on my plate was the peas and they were only warm not coming back

Get 50% off voucher sent my email so ok book table. On arrival told can’t order until 3pm get drinks. 3pm told no 3.10pm 3.10 pm can’t order yet. Sp up and leave and am now at the water Tower. Good way to loose customers.

Food wasn't so gd ran out of beef gammon and most chicken dishes . Friend was given a processed cheese slice ontop of a hunters chicken !! Party of 6 and buy the time the last meal came out all other 5 had finished there food

DISAPPOINTED!!Booked a table, upon arrival we wasn’t even greeted and shown our table, we had walk round the venue trying to find it. After placing our order we then waited over and hour to have our dishes served Half missing, and stupidly sized portions. After querying this we was told there wasn’t much on the menu in stock WHY wasn’t we informed of this at the time.We had to go else where because that simply wasn’t enough. Just be nice to let people know before they Order and wait.

Food was okay nice and hot service was reasonable. When main meal came out had to go and remind them I had ordered a side even then they brought the wrong bread out. Also had to remind them we had ordered pudding as well.Ordered it on line so that might have been the problem as staff no aware of complete order. Apart from that not to bad.

Good all day breakfast, sausages tasty, large pieces of bacon, everything cooked nicely, table appeared clean. Unfortunately the hot drinks machine was out of use but otherwise good food for the price, quiet when I was there so service ok. Toilets could do with a bit of maintenance, tlc. Staff= helpful.

Reasonably priced bevvies, nice bar staff & on this occasion the occupants in the pub were friendly.Went for a catch up drink with a mate. I ordered a pint for me & my friend and then enquired about what Sambuca options they had. The barman sprung to life & that was the start of a good night, involving banter with the bar staff, banter with the locals, a mini pool tournament that then became a doubles tournament complete with a punters pet dog. Enjoyable random evening.

Had a lovely lunch with my friend today. A nice welcome from Antonio when we got there. The food was very quick to arrive and was very nice. The place is immaculately clean and the staff are all very friendly. I always enjoy going there as the atmosphere is great. Would definately recommend this pub.
