A good menu selection including some vegetarian and vegan which were listed separately making it easier to view. We all had roast - meat-free carvery, meat carvery and Quorn sausages in a giant Yorkshire pud with mash and gravy. The service at the carvery was speedy and the two servers did well to to get the queue down but the other diners seemed to take a while loading their veg. The veg was frequently topped up though so hot roast pots etc but sadly the mash was cold. We were all happy with our food though and didn't go back for seconds. We were too full to try any desserts.

Spoke to the manager about a false parking ticket generated months ago and they promised to take care of it, I showed the receipt and bank statement. Unbeknown to me the parking agency is now pursuing £320 for allegedly parking illegally for a mere 20 minutes during their breakfast times (as I have breakfast once a week there and all the staff know me) will be taking up with head office. I can show I spend at least £60 a month here for years

Myself and my daughter went for dinner tonight and a young man served us. He was the most polite person I have ever been served by. We couldn’t quite believe the service he gave considering how busy he was and very happy at all times.

What a homely place to be, my girlfriends family and I went to have a Sunday carvery here on 13/2/22 at 5:30 pm and it was amazing. We were served by Jess who was lovely, she was very inviting, she was very friendly - providing the best customer service. She asked us for our drinks order, explained everything to us and came often to check on us and clear our table. Considering it was my girlfriends birthday she brought us out some ice cream and custard free of charge to go along with the Birthday cake we brought (we were allowed to light the candles too). The Carvery experience was a great and memorable one here at Caversham Bridge, Reading. We'd definitely return. 5/5 stars! We'd like to give an extra big thank you to Jess for making my girlfriends evening special!

Good polite helpful service . A really great Roast too. I haven't been to a Carvery for years despite living really close to one at home. Plenty of meat and the vegetables were really hot . I was very pleased.

The service was OK.Carvery was OK vegetables and roast potatoes were great. I chose the Beef.big mistake; it was like chewing rubber.I took it home and gave it to my dogs...I will have to stick with the turkey if there is a next time.

Went there for a late evening carvery on a Tuesday, still plenty of food left even after we left. A really great price for what you get, the food was absolutely delicious! We have visited before but food was not so good, however this time the food was so good we wished we had room for more! The only thing we picked up on was that the slices of meat you are given are quite small considering they usually have a whole slab of each left at the end of the night, then again everything you get is definitely worth the price you pay (and more) so still give 5 stars. Definitely visiting again, thank you!

First time to experience the buffet breakfast. It had everything you needed for a hearty start to the day. Although I did not know the protocol it was soon explained by the helpful staff. Unsure as to why you would need Yorkshire pudding with a breakfast but most of the diners around me had them on their plates so maybe thats a new addition to the modern fry up. I marked it down a star as I tried to pay via the app as it is advertised and it was very long winded, which caused me to give up and pay at the bar.

The eatery is much improved now in ambience, comfortable seating and helpful and efficient staffs. The food and drinks are of great quality except that they’ll never master the art of cooking roast potatoes! They’re tough and undercooked and not done properly. However, overall a great place. 👍

Wonderful place to eat. It was a last minute booking to thank a family member. Our seating was brilliant. Plenty of room to stretch out when relaxing.Staff were exceptional and the food was out of this world and portions were definitely generous. As you will be fined if notThank you Toby. See you again soon.
