Veeno Reading in Reading

The pizza was great!Their frozen passion fruit martinis were so-so. I didn't think it worked, but they have an extensive wine list so may be better off ordering wine.Atmosphere is good and van dit outside of the weather permits.

Great place , great Italian wines and beautiful food but service was slow and a bit inattentive. In a group of 5 we spend £266 pounds and had to ask for a portion of olives 3x,had to go to the counter to get a menu. Maybe it was understaffed on the day .

Had such a lovely time, had a voucher for a wine tasting, the food and wine did not disappoint and we had such a lovely waiter too. Have been before but not for ages, will defo be going back sooner rather than later.

I had the pleasure of working with the Veeno Reading team on arranging a work event for 30 people on a Monday night. Throughout the planning and preparation discussions the staff were incredibly attentive and provided every bit of information I needed to ensure the night was a success.However, this was surpassed by the team who were actually working on the night itself! Everyone was made to feel welcome and the food and drinks were absolutely spot on! Amazing food and perfectly arranged in our private area for us to mingle and eat as we caught up for the first time since 2019! Catering for different requirements is sometimes a challenge but this was easily done with the variety of food choices on offer and every item was of a extremely high standard and fantasticly presented. There was never a moment where drinks were not being refilled and their team worked effortlessly to ensure we were able to relax and have a wonderful evening!Amazing work Veeno Reading! We will for sure be seeing you again!

We had a lovely meal at the Reading restaurant. The ravioli main was delicious and the mojitos were well-mixed and very drinkable. Our only criticism was the slow service that evening. It took about 15 minutes to get our order placed and then there was a gap of about 30-40 minutes between finishing the main and ordering our dessert. We know it was a busy Friday night but just a bit of eye for detail from the waiting staff would have helped the situation. Overall a very enjoyable evening.

Absolutely amazing service! This is the second time we went to Veeno Reading and you couldn't fault the staff. So friendly and attentive and even though there was a large group that came in before us, which meant a little wait for food, they made up for it with free nibbles and a discount without us asking for anything. The communication was great and they kept us informed. The wait wasn't actually bad at all in the end and when our food arrived it was delicious.Will definitely go back soon.

We had the prosecco brunch, 6 glasses of prosecco per person and as much pizza as you can eat! The pizza was very tasty and the atmosphere really enjoyable.

The meat & cheese platter is good and the truffle honey dip. The asparagus ravioli too was nice & light. Didn't really enjoy the pizza. The ambiance too was perfect. It wasnt crowded too.

Utterly beautiful. Wine list was amazing and with plenty of choices. Food menu was simple but divine, we had a pizza each which was a little more than we could handle leaving a little bit, but devoured what we could, fabulous flavour.Our waiter made us feel very welcome and kept us entertained.Atmosphere in there was wonderful, everyone settled but energetic, couldn't stop smiling.Will go back in a heartbeat 😁
