Absolutely beautiful food every single time. So much flavour, tender meat hot and fresh. Staff are amazing. So much variety of dishes there really is something for everyone. Oh and the best samosas ive ever had. Would highly recommend!

I love this place. I’ve been eating in and having takeaways for years. Mohammed and his staff are always friendly. Ali and Lal are always happy. The restaurant is really old style with no frills, which is party of the charm. The food is just what you want. Never had an issue.And it’s only a few steps from the White Horse, so you can have a beer while you wait. 🍺Village or Raj? Village wins for me.

We have been using the Village for years, always good and tonight's takeaway was exceptional. Chicken Achar, Chicken Pathoia and Lamb Madras all delightful.

I've been coming here on a almost weekly basis for 4 years, food is very good and always no problems. Friendly owner and staff, they are extremely attentive and nice to chat to. Also you can bring your own alcohol which is great.

Our local for Takeaways - we love it. Unpretentious, not expensive, homely. Restaurant is like eating in someone's front room - very comfortable.

A proper Indian resaurant that cooks from scratch and doesnt use buckets of sauces bought from Pataks. Good selection of standard curry house favourites well cooked, takes a while as it is all fresh, Indian is not fast food! Try it.
