Carluccios in Reigate and Banstead

The tiramisu is always amazing, but the rest of the menu is uninspiring, over seasoned and always disappointing.Service could be better, no help from our waitress (or the oblivious parents) in trying to get to our table in the corner, nicely blocked in by the neighbouring table's children's scooters...

Popped in for lunch, really nice atmosphere and welcoming staff. I had the set menu which tasted great and was very filling, my wife had the seafood pasta and and starter from the al a carte menu- both were really nicely prepared a generous portiins. Really nice way to spend lunch

Beautiful food and great service. Loved the dessert stand the best. Worth a visit at any time. Be sure to book during popular times.

Went it for a breakfast in your PJ's offer. Great vibe with the staff and other punters. Good food and great fun... apart from this they do a great deal on patisserie and coffee before 11am on weekdays. Staff are very friendly. Got to stop going in.

Brilliant night with my husband! We had bad experience in central London location and said we wouldn't bother again but we recently moved to the area and thought we would give it another go. Food was brilliant and service was great, we had Dori (might have spelt her name wrong) but she was so friendly and really made our evening. Will be coming back again soon!

In general I like this chain and the food is often very tasty, but this branch could do with some improvements. There were three waitresses and just as many tables, but it seemed to be difficult to get their attention throughout the meal. The I food was mostly enjoyable however I think the ragu was a bit more bolognaise than ragu. Overall a nice meal had the service been a bit quicker.

Terrible service. Tried ordering a drink and she walked off as I was speaking to her. Got given wrong food, even though I said are you sure this is the mussels. Food wasn't great either. 3 of our table of 10 ordered the arancini. None of which had the beef ragu inside them. Risotto was sloppy too. Not like how they used to be. Standards have obviously gone down.

I visited Carluccios today at 5.45pm after being informed by a friend that the restaurant was advertising a daytime 2 course meal at a good price if ordered before 6pm. On arrival at the restaurant I was informed food was available and seated at a table, then told the daytime meal offer was not available at that time. I noted from details supplied and confirmed this by website reference that it should have been - the waitress, not a local lady, had lied to me. I was so angry, I left the restaurant immediately. I shall tell my friends and colleagues of this event and feel so let down. I now live in Reigate and work in the high street and will make sure that everyone I know is made aware of this event.....all for the sake of earning a possible £2 extra for a meal.........how stupid, what diabolical customer service.Has anyone else faced this rudeness and lies?

Service a little slow,. Chicken was off!. But insult was added to injury when both the waitress and her supervisor said sorry you didn't enjoy your meal, when all they had to do was smell the chicken to see that it was off. It was therefore not about me not enjoying the meal, but me not being able to enjoy the meal because my chicken was off!

We went here for breakfast recently and given it's a chain had fairly low expectations, however the food here was outstanding. It arrived nice and quickly (important in the mornings) and whilst there isn't a huge choice on the menu it was delicious. I opted for an oat granola with yoghurt and it was very nice indeed. Plus the coffee is the second best to Urban Kitchen (not bad given how many other coffee houses there are in Reigate). My wife had a cooked breakfast which I was extremely jealous of (damn my high cholesterol) and she thoroughly enjoyed it as well.The service was fast, friendly and efficient and the cost was very reasonable too.Will definitely return and perhaps even give it a go for lunch or dinner in the near future.
