Deep Blue in Reigate and Banstead

Expensive I think,and chips not that great, always seem under done.it could just me ,so don't be put off

You need to order like pretty much when they open, because if you’re feeling hungry around 8pm, they have nothing left. A fish and chip shop that runs out of chips 😂

They say 9 o'clock closing went in at 8.40 and they refused to cook anything fresh not even a sausage in batter so just got chips don't go in after 8.20 if you want something that already been cooked and sitting there.. I had choice of 1 dried up sausage or and pie not good considering I wanted two large cod and chips twice obviously don't need my custom ?very poor and unhelpful I will not be using this place again

I used to love the burgers from deep blue, and i just ordered 2 from there for me and my sisters lunch and honestly feels and tastes like they put it in the microwave. The burger is rubbery and tastes awful... I guess no more burgers from there from now on very disappointed.

I normally love this takeaway. However the pie tonight is rock hard, and the chicken inside it is extremely dry. The cheese also wasn’t at all melted on the chips like before. Disappointed.

Absolutely gorgeous fish and chips, excellent portion sizes. Just disappointing that you don't give fresh lemon wedges with the fish and tonight you had no tartar sauce. Fish and chips with no lemon or tartar sauce is just a bit wrong. But the food itself is excellent!

Deep Blue used to be really good for fish and chips, but now the opposite is true. The cod and chips and plaice and chips we had tonight were soggy and very greasy. I couldn't taste the plaice, just grease.Also their website is rubbish. Tonight it said that there wasn't any haddock, yet when I got to the shop they did have haddock. I told them about the cockup with their website and asked them to replace the cod with haddock but they refused, point blank. This is the second time this has happened. I guess my only option is to use my feet and start getting my weekly fish and chips from another, more deserving and better quality frier!!PS I now have indigestion and feel slightly sick. SHAME

Brilliant food Brilliant staff proper English fish and chips recently noticed a great increase in quality in the last few weeks hope it stays this great will be highly recommended to friends

Had meal from Deep Blue tonight. It was lovely. I asked for fresh chips and they were. Staff didnt mind me asking either. Fish was beautiful. Plenty of room to wait outside for your order. Would def recommend. Many thanks.

My favourite local fish&chip shop. Friendly staff. I recommend avoiding the busier hours of the evening (18:00) if you are collecting, as the wait times do ramp up.
