The food was delicious with generous portions and great flavours which reminded me of home. Collected the food on time and the online ordering system with payment online is very handy! Shop is always busy when I’ve collected so must be a favourite amongst many others so best to place an order ahead of time to avoid long waits!

Extremely disappointed with the service received from Gourmet Wok lately but this evening has to be by far the worst they have ever been. We waited almost two hours for our food for two people and in the end cancelled our order. What is worse is that there seems to be a price increase but the service to go along with the increase is absolutely appalling. We certainly won't be ordering with Gourmet Wok again

Appalling, all I could taste was flour, smoked chicken was disgusting. Literally the worst chinese i ever had and also the most expensive, delivery was late and charged me £4 for delivery even though says free delivery over 30. Avoid at all costs

Very bad service and quality, again!! This is our local Chinese and we have been supporting it for years. Unfortunately, for whatever reason they have decided they dont value customers and barely engage with them when trying to spend money at their establishment these days.Phoned up and had been advised to order through the app/website now. Did so and received the standard 45 mins message. After 1 hour, called up to chase. Was put on hold for 7 minutes while they asked around the shop to see what had happened. They then come back on the phone and state 'on its way'. Well it had been 'on its way' for over an hour, so that was unhelpful. No guidance on when it may arrive, but seeing as I live less than 5 mins drive from the shop, assumed it would be in the next 10 mins.TWENTY FIVE MINUTES later it arrived, cold, almost stewed and had obviously been completely forgotten about. These things happen, but then, no apology on the phone, the moody delivery driver arrived and we still gave him a tip (stupidly!). Since then I have been trying to make a formal complaint and tried all the email addresses they advertise, but absolutely no response.Dont bother with this one, they are getting worse and worse (& more and more expensive!). There are much better Chinese who will deliver to a similar location, so try a new one and done constantly go back to people who dont value your custom and whos quality is getting worse and worse.

Took over 2 hours to deliver! Alright it was a Saturday night in lockdown but I had to ring up & apparently it was “the next order” I pushed for when it would arrive & it was 10-15mins away, no apology. The chap who runs this place is downright rude, I cannot believe how the lovely staff put up with it! Treat your staff better & learn some basic customer service, mush - defo won’t use again.

Best chinese takeaway outside of china! absolutely scrummy food! Great service very friendly . Order early because they are so good they get really busy. the new website where you can order in advance is a really good touch. keep up the good work guys, so glad you are still going strong especially in these difficult times.

Not an enjoyable experience and expensive for quality received. The special fried rice tasted old, some parts of peking duck inedible like its been warmed in microwave and meat has gone rock-hard, cucumber tasted odd! Threw most of it away! This takeaway is far too busy, some people waiting 1.5hrs from ordering, hence quality suffers. Service - lady on phone taking an order whilst im trying to pay - rude in my opinion.
