Great food, lovely interior and well decorated, staff were also very friendly. The pub would benefit with its own car park though, as street parking is limited around it.

Appalling visit. Virtually ignored on arrival. Had to ask for menu, young staff with no interest in customer service. Staff not in uniform going behind the bar, including on holiday manager. "Food" extremely poor quality. £27 for inferior wine. Gents toilet awash with overflow urine on floor. So called "management " had not inspected toilets all day.

For drinks and food after work this is a very good choice! Nice vibe in the air, good atmosphere and great food. On the toilet you can pee and puke at the same time 🤪

Last night we went to Home Cottage for Dinner, to celebrate a birthday, and the whole experience was excellent. Firstly the location, two minutes walk from Redhill train station, means that it's really easy to get to and there were plenty of cabs at the station taxi rank to get home hassle-free at the end of the evening.The food was superb. We all had vension meatballs for starters and everything was perfect from the quality of the meat to the tomato chutney base, which we're definitely going to have a go at making at home now! I had the sirloin steak which was delicious and the others had burgers which again were excellent.The staff were friendly and helpful and the place was busy enough on a Saturday night to have a good atmosphere, without feeling in any way overcrowded. Thanks for a great evening and we'll definitely be back!

Lovely pub with plenty of tables and chairs to get comfortable. Really nice old pub feel, with a huge restaurant area at the back. Only went for a drink, but the menu looked varied, and the food smelt fantastic

A few times I've been now and a similar experience, friendly staff, nice beers but food is generally way too expensive for what it is. eg ordered 2 ox meat and blue cheese croquettes for £7, what turned up was 2 tiny inch long crispy things, almost one mouthful each. They were not even that tasty 😶Did get a roast there not too long ago there which was nice!Still don't accept cash, which is strange 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

We had our Christmas party at the Home coCottage the other night and couldn't be happier! Food was lovely (not a dry piece of turkey in sight) service was excellent and of course the atmosphere in this pub is wonderful in general. Beautiful place and we all had a great time. Good selection of beers& ciders as well and a few interesting cocktails! Would definitely go again.

Not my favourite pub, fat too pretentious and generally unwelcoming. Nice interior and good selection of craft ales and spirits. Nice outdoor heated seating space. We had the burger which was nice if unremarkable. Plate was sparse with the burger one side and the little tin of fries the other, perhaps a smaller plate would have disguised this better or maybe some slaw or salad? I don't think it's the staff that are the issue (for me) it's 'the regulars' most appear self-important, commuter-loving twits! But that's just me! 😬

The Home Cottage has a nice atmosphere and the service is always friendly. The staff are friendly and willing to make an effort to accommodate requests. Well worth a visit if you're in Redhill, or if your train is delayed it's a nice place to spend some time.
