Solid Chinese best to collect in person the food is good

Great Chinese. My favourite of the area. I really don't understand the bad reviews

Stay well away, I had the worst food poisoning ever from this place it should be closed down and someone else takes over in my opinion.

Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. I've ordered from here a few times, all for pickup, always good and fresh. Hot and sour soup, chicken with mixed veg, chicken balls were all very tasty. Beef chop suey wasn't bad either; British chop suey usually isn't to my liking, and admittedly this one does have a very red sauce which I've never seen before, but I actually prefer it to the other chop sueys I've had in this country.

Awful, awful, awful. Chicken Chinese style was tepid and chewy and also had a strange smell and Singapore noodles were virtually a mush and completely tasteless. Abrupt and unfriendly service too. Please don't waste your money.

I have ordered from here a few times now and never had a problem, food Is always delicious. However this time round not so great my chicken chop suey was horrible. I first noticed it was different when opening tub, it was red. Never have I ever had red chop suey. I continued to dish up. Then once I tasted it was not happy it seemed as though its tinned chopped tomatoes. There is no flavour apart from the onion. Why you've done this I've no idea but I suggest you dont do it again.

Food was delivered extremely quickly, that’s the only positive. Food was barely edible, duck was extremely tough, as was the deep fried shredded beef. Prawn toast had no prawn, just a fried slice with sesame on top. Chow mien tasted old and the spare ribs were just bones in a sauce. The worst Chinese take away we’ve ever had. Will not be going back and would avoid at all costs.

We ordered early evening i e just after 6pm and we were probably given the day before leftovers. The lemon chicken had seen better days. It was dry. Only fit for the dog. The batter was utterly SOGGY with uncooked batter. The chicken balls were ok. The battered fried prawn dish: the batter was hard and smacked of cooked the day before too. Vermicelli was goodish..... The prawn crackers were rubbery. Their take away is just round the corner from us but that is where they can stay. Never again.

Very disappointing. Food was virtually inedible... prawn toast had no prawn paste on it, it was basically fried bread with sesame seeds on, squid was undercooked, shredded beef looked stale and smelt horrible, stale bit of duck was in the bag with the chicken balls... we didn’t order anything duck. When we phoned the man was rude and unapologetic. Never again and would not recommend
