Merstham Tandoori in Reigate and Banstead

Ordered a £9.95 chicken dansak which didn't come with rice!? Phoned restaurant to be told online orders don't come with rice! Yet their menu clearly says 'with full pilau rice'!Will not use their online ordering any more, when you pay that much for a curry you expect to get what you pay for! the chicken pasanda had rice included!? although again I ordered chicken pasanda and got chicken tikka pasanda!MT has gone down in my expectations so will think about going elsewhere from now on. Shame because we've been customers for years :(

Best curry I have had in a long time from Merstham Tandoori. They are always good, but tonight's curry was the best! New Chef I assume?

A fantastic takeaway (delivery is now available since Covid) who obviously take customer service and food allergies very seriously. My son says they make the best butter chicken he's ever had!I really recommend this takeaway! A friendly family who have put thought and money into changes since the pandemic. Now has only a small dine-in area and takeaway.

I have been to the merstham tandoori on saturday 21 august 21..the service and the staff are very friendly...when we ordered the food we did not wait to long before it was served....the food was real nice very tasty and well presented...I like to thank all who attended to me and my friends you were so nice and friendly..Regards from malcolm

Very poor quality food.We ordered 1 meat biriyani, 1 lamb tikka biriyani, 1 chicken tikka, 3 parathas, 2 garlic naan, altogether cost 47 pounds for our dinner. We ordered it for 4 adults 3 children.No one liked the food. Both biriyani were utter flop. Feels like low quality rice were used. The portion was very small, even nobody want to eat it due to it's quality.I thought that the chicken tikka was a dessert. It was that sweet that we cannot able to eat it. We were forced to throw all the food in trash and sleep hungry. Will never ever will order from here.

Some items are alright. But every single item was very oily.The really disappointing item was Mutter Paneer (suppose to be peas and Indian cottage cheese curry). But the item neither had peas nor paneer rather the item had chick pea and cheese.Ordered peshawari naan which was too thick unfortunately.

Lovely people. Very accommodating in food choice to satisfy own taste. Good service. No alcohol license though. But you can BYO!! Plus point for some and even if you don't there is a co-op opposite that sell chilled wines and beers opposite. Do take out too. 3rd meal here. Not disappointed.
