Amazing service at the Sutton branch. Got some birthday cakes for the office and the lovely lady was very sweet and patient with my indecisiveness. Really great service and obviously no review necessary for the cakes because they are always so fresh and delicious! Highly recommend.

I'd often passed Patisserie Valerie in Sutton High Street and looked longingly in the window at the delicious cakes, but I've never tried them or ventured inside...but yesterday whilst on a shopping trip with my son we decided we just had to try it once and for all...we just couldn't resist a slice of their cake!! We decided to sit inside which was clean and tidy and well decorated, the staff were also polite and helpful...we ordered coffee, hot chocolate, carrot cake and caramel cake...and we were not disappointed!! It was all fantastic, delicious and very well presented...we would most certainly go back again (and again and again,as I must try all of their cakes!) I didn't think it was overpriced as paying for something you thoroughly enjoy doesn't come into for me.Highly recommended to all of those who love to treat themselves to something naughty but nice now and again.5 stars *****

Very unfriendly, discourteous and rude staff at front. I visited this afternoon looking for a cake for Valentineās Day for my family. One would expect today of all the days for staff to be welcoming. But, I have never felt so unwelcome! The two ladies at the front counter left me waiting whilst 2 customers who came after me were served first. One actually told the other to serve the other before me. When I was finally attended, I enquired about cakes and flavours and prices, she pointed at them and told me to just look at them. When I asked for some help, she half heartedly and in an annoyed manner told me the prices and flavours. I was quite deflated at this point and said I will come back in a bit, as I felt uncomfortable with their attitudes. As I was struggling to open the door with my stroller with no assistance from nearby staff. She then spoke ill about me to her colleague in hearing distance to me saying āthese people come in ask questions and donāt even buy anything, time wastersā I was shocked and left with a really horrible feeling. Respect and good manners is the basic of customer service and doesnāt cost anything. I hope the ladies can reflect and improve their mannerisms, currently, they are not good ambassadors of the patisserie. We all have bad days, but this type of behaviour is unacceptable!

Our visit to PV was disappointing. Food was overpriced and lacked value. Welsh rarebit: 1 slice of bread, 1 poached egg with tomato ketchup instead of chutney at £8.25 (then being charged a higher amount) overall the service was poor and no apology was provided.

Patisserie Valerie is destined to fail judging by the service I received today. My order was missing items, one of the drinks was cold, the food was sub par and the service was a bit drab.I would like to say the only redeeming factor was the cake that was ordered, because it was fantastic!...but at that price point, it leaves me questioning if it was good value for money when taking all the other failures into consideration. Can't see myself coming back again

We went there based on our good memories and experience of Patisserie Valerie, but I am afraid this particular branch was not as we expected. There was a delay to get our order, and after that it took around 40 minutes to get our order (two simple fruit salad and a tuna sandwich with salad and fries) on the table, exactly at the time we had to cancel our order because we had to rush to our appointment. Also, it looked that its cakes were overpriced.

It's OK, I booked a voucher for afternoon tea for two through Red Letter Days for £25 Includes 2 hot drinks and the sharing platter. The 2 scones came out warm and tasted a delight with the cream and jam also had 2 raisin scones. Had a plain chicken sandwich, butter and cucumber sandwich, egg mayonnaise on brioche bun and some kind of roasted pepper filling sandwich, cakes were a delight and the chap even packed up the leftovers for us.

Nice place with very good choice of patisserie.Unfortunately disaponted 2 times when stayed on Ground floor wit my sleeping Baby. The staff likes to makes lots of disturbing noise, banging plates, cups, forks etc.. The worst, bartender opened pack of tissues pressing hard with his hands until the pack exploded and awake my baby. Will never stay again, cake for take away only.
