We came to this restaurant as wetherspoons were out of order and had no suitable food available due to equipment failure. At Planet Sweet I got the best chips/fries that I have had for several years. The Cod fish was excellently cooked and served, and tasted just perfect too. I would recommend this place and look forward to eating here again.

i had breakfast here this morning, totally unimpressed with the staff, the food and the price. I ordered two poached eggs on toast, two sausages, mushrooms, tinned tomatoes, black pudding with two slices of bread and butter and a tin of coke all for the bargain price of £10.50The food arrived minus the toast, on alerting the waiter who took my order he tried to tell me that i hadn’t ordered any toast, it was only after i reminded him quite firmly that “two poached eggs on toast” was the first part of my order did he concede and i got my toast, the sausages looked cheap and were tasteless, i got a single tinned tomato, the single slice of black pudding was cut so thin that it was almost transparent and the buttered slices of bread were almost stale, so dry that when i folded them in half they actually broke in two, there was barely a scraping of butter on the bread too!The cafe was quite busy with customers, but that’s no excuse for what i was served, i would definitely NOT recommend this cafe and i will NOT eat here again.

Horley town has never been short of places to grab a meal, or a light bite. I have lived here many years now and remember a lot of good but gone eateries. There are several good ones still.Like me, Planet Sweet has also been in Horley a good number of years. However, with the already mentioned big selection of places to eat, I had never been in before.Yesterday morning, having not had my cornflakes, and wanting Breakfast I popped in. They had a menu with a big selection. I went for the fried egg and beans on toast with a cuppa tea. Probably not the most adventurous of my selections when dining out, but it was very nice indeed. I will certainly be returning here.
