Royal Gurkha in Reigate and Banstead

Really not happy tonight. Was a regular here but today the food was so disappointing as well as the service. The food may have been hot but there was almost no flavour in my dishes and when I complained the waiter just shrugged it off. You’re much better off at spice guru, just up the road and a better Indian than here.

Ghurka Kitchen is a great restaurant to visit if you are a fan of Indian cuisine and have never tried Nepalese. The food is delicious and the staff are gracious. I really must visit more often.

My first take away : I found the food well spiced & tasty and could tell they had used quality fresh ingredients. It was not full of oil unlike other places I’ve ordered from locally- we’ll be ordering again for sure! 🙏🏽😊

Got a takeaway from here tonight, had lamb and chicken dishes. It was all sauce with barely any meat at all. Not impressed for £35 to be honest. Delivery through deliveroo was very quick tho

Just came home from a lovely evening at Gurka kitchen. The food was fab and the staff are brilliant. We had the Monday evening special which is an excellent price too. We often get take away and we haven’t eaten in for a while. We had missed it a lot. Thank you for being so friendly, welcoming and attentive. See you again soon. Rachel and Tom

Absolute gem of a restaurant that I've passed many times, but I'm so glad I finally dined in. The service was brilliant throughout with regular check-ins. The prices were incredible, especially when you consider how delicious the food is. Definitely one of my top dining memories. Take all the stars!

This restaurant is an absolute GEM! Stunning food cooked just how you like it. There was nothing the staff and chefs wouldn't do to make your experience an excellent one. The dishes are so fresh and made with passion, which reflects the moment it passed your lips! BRAVO GK!!

Friendly & attentive staff.Issues where we was sat right by the door so everytime someone came in we got a cold draft, stepdaughter had to sit with her coat on all night. Ask to move but was unable.Food hit and miss. Some of us liked it, others didn't. 2 of us had Chamri, was tasteless & like hallumi not melt in the mouth like described. I choose a sizzling dish but waiter said to have something different as that was dry he suggested Pokhareli Lamb, told him I don't like hot/spicy, it was too hot/spicy making my mouth tingle, naans very dry & tasteless. Other dishes ok, not a lot of meat in them tho. Everybodys taste is differentWould give them the benefit of the doubt & try again.

Had a beautiful meal meal in here on Sunday night. The food was spectacular and the service was brilliant. The prices are really reasonable too. Will definitely be back again!
