Cosy country pub with space to tie up horses by the beer garden, plus real ales and quiz nights.

Lovely lunch and really dog friendly. Plenty of fresh clean water for the dogs, lots of pups enjoying the sunshine and the pub is really relaxed and welcoming. The food was delicious and good value, standard pub fare, really good quality and cooked well.

A welcoming pub/ restaurant in a splendidly rural setting very close to Reigate. The menu was not extensive (always a good sign). The food was tasty, if slightly less than piping hot (perhaps we were sitting quite a way from the kitchens - and the restaurant contained lots of diners). The staff were friendly and eager to please. It's definitely worth another visit (but I might try a salad next time).

Very quaint little pub, our initial server was very pleasant and our drinks and starters arrived swiftly, 2 of the starters went down a treat but the soup was very bland and more like a mushroom paste, cold on the top and extremely hot on the bottom and did not get eaten. when another server collected the plates we mentioned the soup wasn’t great, to which she replied “well I didn’t make it” and wandered off to our astonishment! The mains were tasty. The desert was also nice but there was a piece of cling film in it.

Great staff. Great menu. Great beer. Great atmosphere. It's been more than 30 years from when I last visited the Skim, the approach road now has tarmac ;-)We arrived during a busy Sunday lunch without booking, not surprisingly the inside tables were all booked so we settled ourselves outside. A few minutes later a staff member came and found us to say that a table had just come available and would we like to use it? That's what great service looks like!I can certainly recommend their Sunday nut roast and their macaroni cheese.

Great old fashioned pub. Nice friendly staff, plenty of parking space. Food basic but good. Not a great choice of beer/ales when I visited - this may have been due to a busy afternoon.

6 of us Showed up without a booking at 11am. We were muddy and had 3 dogs with us after a local trail run!The staff welcomed us, our dogs and the food was fantastic.Highly recommended

Greatly improved after its make over.Food was very good but only a couple of real ales. Nowhere to sit at the bar which is a shame on a cold day. It's a good pub to include on a walk on Reigate Heath.

Fantastic!Great food, brilliant staff (our server, Ellie, was a delight!), generous portions and dog friendly too.I thoroughly recommend the ribs... so tender, no cutlery required! The old school Butterscotch Tart is also one to try! Will most definitely be back. These folks are doing everything right!
