Really enjoyed an 80th Birthday lunch at The Spaghetti Tree today - the food was fabulous, the atmosphere was great and our Waiter, Antonio, was superb. There was another younger waiter who was also great but I didn't catch his name. Will definitely be coming again soon ☺️

Very attentive but not over bearing. Very well mannered and the food was very very good. Well worth the extra money. An overall extremely good dinning experience.Do you self a favour and simply go.

Fraudulent card payments. Rude manager/co owner. Would not recommend. My friends and I have visited this restaurant on several occasions but its really gone down hill.Visited on Saturday for a friend's birthday. We were a party of 7.We arrived and were seated quickly by a lovely waiter (possibly the only pleasant member of staff). Ordered drinks 3 arrived and the other 4 took over half an hour to arrive. No apologies from senior staff we were told its busy.Ours mains were all fairly below average. Both another party member and myself ordered the chicken in mushroom sauce. We both found the chicken to be very over cooked and dry. We politely brought this to the attention of the waiter, he did offer a replacement but after eating the side dishes we weren't wanting to eat another main. After asking if this would be discounted as the dish was below standard we were told to go up and speak to the manager if we wanted a discount. Maria the owner/manager told both myself and my friend we were lying about the dry overcooked chicken. She was very aggressive and I felt as if she wanted an argument. We asked for the bill with out getting the desert from the set menu as we all felt like we wanted to leave. We all paid the bill and left, although the waiter had some confusion will our bills. Twenty minutes later Maria called to tell us there was still a balance of £75 owing and she was calling the police as this is theft. A member of party returned to pay the remaining balance and was told to leave. She was also advised the money had been taken from someone's card. Maria also then abused a member of party and called our entire party embarrassing, she also barred us all. (We would not of returned us this anyway).Later that evening one of the party members realised that two payments have left her account. One for the payment she made and another that spaghetti tree had taken for the balance after declining to take the money of the party member earlier that evening. We are unsure of how this has been done as the initial payment has been made via contact less card payment. I understand this has been reported to the police. To add to this the ladies toilets were dirty and only had one locking toilet.

Booked online for a few weeks ahead to celebrate 2 family birthdays on 12.02.22. Waited nearly 30mins for our order to be taken at which point we were informed that the only choices were from a somewhat unappetizing set valentines menu at £60 per head.On querying this, as this hadn't been made clear on booking, one of the staff (who we later found out was a co--owner) came over, she told us it was shown on the website if we scrolled to the bottom but my daughter who booked said she hadn't seen anything and checked her confirmation email but there was nothing mentioned there either! We asked to pay for the drinks and leave but were then told reasonably bluntly that we would still be charged the £60 per head regardless and said she'd leave us for a while to think about it.A further 20 minutes later and still consoling my daughter, who had been reduced to tears thinking she had ruined the evening, we managed to attract the attention of a member of staff and placed our order.I ordered fillet steak medium rare, it came out well done so it got sent back, it then came out again and it was blue, when it arrived for the 3rd time it was rare but mostly edible and as everyone else had finished eating I decided to accept it.The owner ignored us for the rest of the evening although the manager did try his best to improve things and provide good service even asking the singer to make a birthday mention for my husband and daughters partner which was nice and at least made us laugh when Michael was sung happy birthday to as Michelle!!When the bill arrived we said we were not prepared to pay the service charge based on initial poor service and subsequent very obvious deliberate avoidance as well as the steak having to be returned twice.Talking to the manager during various conversations about why we wouldn't pay the service charge it turned out that the co-owner was well aware my daughter had been reduced to tears so said she wanted to give us space ??? I was in the hospitality industry myself and if you have an unhappy table then its very poor hosting skills to decide to ignore them all evening the least that should have happened is for her to come back over, apologise for the misunderstanding "however it happened" and check if everything was now in order. On talking to another customer whilst having a cigarette outside they had found themselves in the same situation, couldn't eat the starter, chicken main was dry and they actually decided to leave before their dessert.Won't be visiting again.

Great Saturday lunch. Bottomless brunch was really good. The food was lovely and all served hot. Good portion size, drinks were kept well topped up. The Singer was great and made it a great atmosphere. The staff were absolutely fantastic, very welcoming. Definitely coming back next month. Thank you

Excellent location overlooking Mere pond.We went with friends at 1300hrs.Nice and clean ,friendly staff and a very large menu covering all tastes as well as several specials. I went for the Crayfish & Avocado followed by Veal with ham and vegetables, followed by a sweet pizza covered in Nutella topped with strawberries and Belgium white chocolate. Washed down with a Meantime pale ale. My partner had the figs and cheese special and a Calzone with pepperoni. Washed down with pink prosseco.

First up, three stars may seem low. But I hold with the idea that five stars is all but unattainable, making four top notch, and thus three is essentially top billing for most establishments one frequents spontaneously; some place you didn't plan to be and didn't plan to eat at, in the middle of what seems nowhere. It was towards the end of a mountain biking loop when we found ourselves trying to choose between pub burgers or some pasta from Spaghetti tree.We went with the latter, and that was a fine choice with no regrets. It was £76 for the two of us. That's a couple of wines and pints, starter to share, and a main each. I had lamb shanks and mash, which was tasty as it gets (yes I know, not pasta). Now @ 76 it was more than the pub burgers, but it tasted good, was a beaut setting, and the service was brilliant. We were literally covered in mud and so sat outside, they kept offering a table inside. Nice of them, but outside in the sun was fine by us.

Maria thank you for making our 40th Anniversary a special evening "out" in these difficult times. Service and attention without fault. Arrived on time. Delicious. Camped out on our driveway in our motorhome to make it feel we had gone out. Perfect. Thanks to the Chef and the delivery guy.
