Tea in Reigate and Banstead

Quite possibly the best afternoon tea we’ve ever had! This really is a must go place, the owner is super friendly and welcoming and the portion is extremely generous. The quality of food and attention to detail is out of this world. Highly recommend!!

So far this year to mark different occasions I’ve had 4 afternoon teas at 4 different places, Cobham & Guildford tea rooms, WimbledonIvy and Evie’s tea room in Reigate.Best value for money, presentation & accessibility is Evie’s in Reigate.I booked a table for my family which included my elderly mum. We parked near the shop and the entrance to the shop is on the same level as the street so no steps to contend with for her which was great.The tables are well spaced out so you’re not listening to the next persons conversations and moving around the tea room is easy.The sandwiches are presented on a platter so it’s easy to see the fillings and to pick them up. Other places have them on the bottom layer of the cake stand and they looked like they were falling apart & difficult to get hold of.Cake slices are plentiful and very fresh as are the delicious scones, so much to eat it’s definitely worth every penny! Luckily they supplied a box to take home our leftovers!!The other great thing about Evie’s is the unlimited tea!! Two of the other places I had been to gave us one pot of tea each & we had to pay for extra!!One of our party is gluten free and at Evie’s they charge the same price as ‘normal’ afternoon tea. The Cobham & Guildford tea rooms charged extra for gluten free afternoon tea!I would highly recommend Evie’s and have already rebooked to go back next week for a family birthday celebration!

Went for a set afternoon tea 3 adults and 2children the sandwiches and rolls were excellent a good variety of fillings .The selection of cakes ,so varied were excellent. We ate to much and even took cake home. Well worth a visit.

Had an amazing afternoon tea here recently! The sandwiches and brioche rolls were full and tasty with lots of different fillings - all yummy - and the homemade scones and cakes were absolutely delicious!The staff were warm and very accommodating and it was a fantastic way to spend a Saturday afternoon - a big thank you everyone at Evie's!

We had a fantastic afternoon tea at Evie’s Tearoom! Everything was delicious, especially the homemade sandwiches and fruit scones. The friendly staff added to our experience- we will definitely be back again soon :)

Love it. The cheese scones are excellent. As are cakes. All baked on site. The service is always friendly and helpful. I haven't tried the lunch menu but will do so soon. A comfortable place for a chat and they are open until 5pm.

Enjoyed a lovely strong cup of tea with a cream cheese scone & relish on Wed. Beautiful interior, toilet was so fresh and clean. Lovely, quaint, old fashioned Tea Room. May try their afternoon tea next time I visit!

Spent an absolutely perfect afternoon here with my extended family. We all thoroughly enjoyed the High Tea and I fell in love with the delicious sandwiches, cakes, scones and tarts. The presentation was beautiful, service very friendly, and the whole decor of the tearooms really takes you back in time. If you're in Reigate, put Evies on the top of your list for a quick pit stop or a leisurely and relaxing afternoon tea. It's a must for sure!

Visited today for my daughter’s Birthday. Very accommodating with requests for specific sandwiches. Amazing cakes, homemade and delicious. So much to eat we had to bring some home!! Highly recommend

Came here yesterday with friends to celebrate my 70th birthday and we had an amazing time. We felt like royalty, nothing was too much trouble and the food was the best I have ever tasted. So much food we all came home with doggy bags. Can’t wait to visit again.
