Nice little pub for a quiet drink, good selection of ales and gins

Nice pub with cosy little snug areas, very dog friendly, always been quiet when we've been, staff very friendly (could do with a few more ales on tap, though might have just been temporarily off on our recent visits)

Lovely pub, fantastic food and very friendly staff. We have tried the Sunday roast, steak nights and few things from the regular menu and they were all amazing.

It's a Great pub large seating area at the front you also have a smaller seating area at the back witch is lovely . great selection of ale's local too so I was pleased with that being an ale lover.the atmosphere was very friendly lotts of smile from my waitress And I think its Jayden the chef who introduced himself nice fella .I ordered a nice steak meal chip's broccoli chilli prawns amazing every thing cooked from scratch Including the sauces i gave five stars because I had one of the best meal in Very long time Will be coming again thank you the HATCH..

Surprising menu in a cosy pub. Excellent food, very friendly staff.

Really nice Free House. Popped in for a quick drink and stayed longer, great outside seating area as well as very comfortable inside seating. Good selection of beers, wines & spirits plus soft drinks. Didn’t eat but menu looked good and lots of customers seemed to be enjoying meals. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Only went to this pub twice, never had food so far, but no complaints: nice staff, reasonably priced beer

I took my family here (including my two year old) and we had a delightful time! Not only was the food scrumptious, but the two fireplaces gave the pub a great ambiance. The locals seemed a good crowd and the landlord serves a nice pint. I'm looking forward to my next visit!
