Lovely pub with a great garden area. Good was nice, only issue was lack of vegetarian options. Would be nice if they could include a couple more.

Terrible experience. We were there for a pre-booked 50th birthday lunch. The staff did nothing to make the occasion special. There seemed to be ample staff and the restaurant wasn't very busy but we were ignored by staff who stood around and didn't come over. The menu was uninspiring and our meals took an hour and a half to arrive. Portions were small and overpriced. The food was mediocre at best. Excuses were made for the long wait and bad service but no apology. We had to call staff over whenever we wanted to order extra drinks or have used crockery taken away because they were so unattentive. We had been going there for years but unfortunately it's now gone downhill. We will not be going there again!!

Great gastropub that combines restaurant and pub. Very atmospheric dining area and really great food all round. I had the sunday roast which was fab. This only comment i have was that the meat was a tad to well done for me. Also very nice service.

Food was good and service was good . However I have today come home to a parking fine for using the pub car park whilst eating there ! It was pouring down with rain when we arrived and busy so we rushed in and didn’t see that you had to give your car registration to reception . Why would they not advise you of this when you check in …. Unless the pub is profiting from this and are happy for you to get a fined so they benefit financially !!! The food was good but plenty of other pubs with equally nice food who don’t try to profit from you in other ways .

Lovely setting, inside has a great traditional feel. Food was decent but a small menu for a pub. Service was very mixed, made a booking but when we arrived they hadn't put us in the correct area and then squeezed us in by putting a few tables together. However, our waiter was great. Would go again but probably just for drinks.

I came here on Sunday for a roast dinner to be told that there weren’t anymore roast dinners to then see that the table across from us that had ordered after us as well had received the dual roast beef when 2 people on my table had ordered 2 singular roast beef. We then had to order something else off of the menu after that the food had continued to take another 45 minutes to come out to us, and the food was lukewarm and very salty, we were then waiting around another 20 minutes after we had finished our food for our table to be cleared. I don’t understand why we were waiting so long when majority of the staff were just standing around doing morning and made eye contact with me several times but still did not come over to our table to service us. However the manager of that day did give us 20% off but still lied about not having any roast dinners left. For future if you know you are going to have a fully booked day make sure when you place your delivery order that you have enough roasts for all of your guests that come to dine with you.

Good pub, nice beer selectionApr controlled parking to reduce commuters parking for the station make sure you check in.Serves normal pub fare, a selection of beers. Not a bad place to send and afternoon or evening.

Newish pub to the Fuller's stable, good selection of beers and (considering these covid times) a reasonable food menu. We were there for lunch, our fish and chips, we're well cooked, and the minted peas were delicious. The staff were knowledgeable and attentive, well worth a visit.

Lovely pub, food was great and delicious, nice beers and the service was excellent. I loved the deco, the atmosphere and we'll definitely go back again.
