The Well House Inn in Reigate and Banstead

My daughter recommended this place to me. We meet up each week and have catch ups over lunch. We will definitely return. A lovely building with good outdoor areas, open spaces, outside bar, and a marquee area which was cool in the hot sun. I noticed the lights all around and heaters (for shelter and warmth when required) Friendly staff, good menu. Can't wait to return!

A good experience overall. Food was excellent, we had burgers. Tricky to take the drinks back to your seat up the garden levels but nice they have an outdoor bar.

What a cracking pub! Was walking the Ridgeway with my dog, and after a tough day, they were a beacon of loveliness! Ok, that's a bit flowery, but you get the sentiment. So welcoming. Room was large and comfortable, food great, beer great, and locals great. I was carrying four days dog food, but only based on his usual two dog walks a day, whereas we were walking seven hours a day, so calories consumed were much higher, and I was feeling guilty. So one lovely local then went home, and came back with a dog bowl of kibble. Thank you! And small details like the packed lunch that was provided being plastic free. Like it! So thank you Mike and Megan. You were a major part of me having a great trip!

Found this wonderful place having 1st driven past it 5 years ago! My son and I hadn’t booked but staff were lovely and very welcoming, seating us in the restaurant. The food was near perfect. Ample portions and incredible flavours and the value for money was incredible. Needless to say I have booked a table for next weekend as a treat for my partner and as everyone knows, the real test will be the quality of their roast dinner 😋

Popped in here for a couple of pints. Lovely old building with very good staff. Large outside area which probably has a big attraction during the summer months. My only grumble is a rather small collection of on tap beers - but I suppose given the size of the actual bar, it can't really be held against them. Food prices looked very 'gastro'! Overall a nice little pub

What a great find this was! I was looking for a nice country pub, away from the hustle/bustle of London. I have now been here twice and both times were great. We sat outside under the canopy, which has a great ambience. The food was pretty good for pub food. But it is the ambience that really makes it special. I am looking forward to sitting inside during winter as it looks really lovely and cosy. I can’t wait to sit near the beautiful fireplaces and enjoy their warmth.(I’d give this a 5 star if the seats outside had backs, rather than just being pub benches.)

Best Pub garden in Surrey! Stunning pub with beautiful views and fab food. Must try the bottomless brunch on Saturdays with live music and great atmosphere.
