Venture Bar and Tapas in Reigate and Banstead

Male manager was rude to me & to his staff. Don’t advertise a new beer garden if you’re going to moan about it being used. Ladies were brilliant, they’re the only reason this place got 2 stars. Food looked nice but everything just tasted like it had a bucket of salt dumped on top of it. Consider hiring a new manager that isn’t rude/grumpy. The table on the other side of the room got 5* treatment but we were treated like we didn’t belong there. The saving grace is the female staff, the male has a lot to learn from them about customer service.

Quite disappointing. I only had enpanadas in the restaurant and they were quite nice, but I took some albondigas and pinchos home and they were mostly consigned to the bin. To be fair I find Tapas restaurants no substitute for a real restaurant and it was a mid week Winter's evening. I could not recommend Carmona based on my experience.

Staff where amazing but the food (despite us being the only people in there) was average.... steaks very over done and others not enough and when mentioned to one lady she only offerd to take it back to which we asked how she would.change a steak from burnt to medium she said we would have to wait. It was a group of us so one person didnt really eat and they didnt even take it off the bill. Other people said there was some of the tapas that wasn't great but ok. In all I have to say with no one but us 9 in the place I expected a little more in the food quality bearing in mind they charge a premium price for very average food.

We went for our wedding anniversary, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing food! We will be returning.

The tapas were all very tasty and very good rioja wine. Best churros I've ever had too. Staff were brilliant and friendly and I liked the decor. Came away from here very happy!

I have eaten here previously and found it excellent. Decided to try the takeaway offering as fancied some Tapas. I've got to say , just shocking. I purchased a Tapas selection of 7 dishes for £39. The portions were tiny and uninspiring. If I'd paid £18 it would you been about right - but at £39, I was ripped off. Such a shame as love to support independents, but I won't be going back for takeaway.

Always immaculate service. The staff are so welcoming. The food is always delicious! 2nd time I've come. Really enjoyed the main I had which consisted of chargrilled chicken along with delicate spice bursting flavours with onions peppers and courgettes inbetween on skewers; had this with a portion of sweet potato chips which were amazing! It tasted so good i forgot the name of it 🤦🏻‍♀️ certainly one NOT to miss
