Walton Heath Tandoori in Reigate and Banstead

First class curry especially tandoori prawn! Thoroughly recommend it here.

Please do waste your money even trying! I live local, but have never used this Indian restaurant. I looked online and the reviews were better than the next closest restaurant as well as having a good hygiene score, so decided to order our takeaway from here on a Saturday evening. This is where the positives end. I walked in to collect and there was an awful odour coming from somewhere/someone. Then when I got home I didn’t mention the odour to my husband, as didn’t want it to spoil the thought of the food for him. He opened the biryani, and said it was a bit cold but everything else was hot. I then tasted the biryani and found it incredible dry, normally our go to dish and this was by far the worst we’d ever experienced. I refused to eat it. Moving on to the nan bread, completely stale and the chicken tikka masala no better, we both refused to eat any of it and again worst I’ve ever experienced. I was so unimpressed (hangry!) I didn’t have the energy to go back and complain, nor did I want to smell the odour again. Will just vote with my feet, and I suggest you all think twice about going here.

Great food at reasonable prices. Although sadly, not many customers due to all covid restrictions etc. going on. Like many places needs locals to carry on visiting.

Very friendly staff. Food was excellent quality. Always have a great time every time we attend here to eat. Decor is up to date and menu has is vast. Deserts are very nice and a wide range of coffee for after. Would recommend eating at this restaurant.

limited menu in comparison to other places within the area.inside is aged and to open if no one is in there it's a strange feeling.no beer in tapfood is average some dishes are limited in flavour in comparison to other places.I go here monthly when I'm in the area can hit or miss herestaff are friendly parking is easy outside and has a ramp if you need it.

Very average curry house that has not had the decor or menu updated in twenty years. Gets busy at times with the locals but not a destination eatery if you want something different

Absolutely shocking curry. Probably fine unless you're vegetarian, then its sauce with onion in it and it's called a "vegetable curry"...I complained, they added 2 pieces of potatoe, more onion. It looked like dog sick on a silver plate. Absolutely hideous. Staff didn't want to know. Were rude when I asked for it to be removed from the bill. Never to return. Shame as local business depend on local support but I'd sooner drive somewhere than go there again.
