Athena's Fish & Chips in Rother

Not the cheapest Fish and Chips but very tasty and cooked to perfection..... Amazed it's only open 3 days a week

Brilliant high quality, award winning fish and chips. Owners is a really lovely bloke and the staff are great. My favourite is the fried halloumi.

sadly what has let this chippe down. Is unable to get home delivery when most of the chippies in bexhill do that service. I dont have a car so find it hard to use this shop. Four stars are for service in the past. But as i say no home delivery is a opportunity missed.

In my opinion the best fish and chips in Bexhill have probably had fish n chips at least 20 times from here over the last few years and have never been disappointed

Had haddock and chips from this fish & chip shop today. The ordering was simple and price reasonable. The order arrived on time and was hot when it arrived. Excellent fish & chips, not greasy and batter crispy. Would definitely recommend this and will most definitely use them again..

What a wonderful surprise this place is! The best fish and chips I’ve had in ages! Fresh, not greasy, and all wrapped in biodegradable and/or recyclable packaging. The grilled fish without batter was amazing! Even comes with lemon. Will definitely be returning here and highly recommending.

We had decided to have fish and chips for our evening meal and Athena have been very good. We tried to order online but after many issues ended up going and collecting them ourselves. Fish was very nice and chips were tasty. Will visit again, but forget trying to order online. This would be a major problem if you've no computer.

We visited this business after reading reviews, and looking for a different chip shop, just for a change. Overall, we found it a bit pricey at a fiver for quite a small piece of cod, but saying that, you get what you pay for. The batter was probably the best I've ever tasted, and the chips were great too. There is parking outside the shop, but don't abuse the disabled bays or the loading bays.There was a sign on the counter where we were served, which actually told us not only where our fish was caught, but the name of the person/ boat who caught it!

Absolutely delicious fish and chips!! One of the biggest and most delicious pieces of cod I've eaten while on vacation here in England from America. My husband is British and he knows his fish and chips he didn't have to tell me twice, that this was some of the best fish and chips he's ever had. 5 stars *****

Nice little shop which opens twice daily. The fish and chips were excellent. The batter was crispy and tasty. Fish inside was soft and juicy. Chips were almost perfectly done. None of there were oil sogged. On top, the people working there are very welcoming. Hard to ask more from a pack of fish and chips! Oh as far i remember, its a takeaway only shop.
