Battle Deli & Coffee Shop in Rother

Took my 14year old son to Battle Deli&Coffee Shop for lunch today as a special treat to cheer him up. The food was lovely&so were the staff. Even though it was very busy we didnt have to wait too long to be served or for our orders to come to us.Great little place to eat&drink. Will definately go there again! Highly recommended. Xx

Very good service with a smile. Buck Rarebit was a little below standard but probably due to a different cook present.

Good food, fair prices. Decor could be a tiny bit more welcoming but well worth a visit. Good dividers between tables.

If you are looking for good food and hot drinks this is the place for you . The service is good and they do get quite full as will your belly. Give them a go and enjoy.

Visited this delightful Deli with a friend and my little dog, in a pawhut. We were given a warm welcome by the lovely staff, the food was scrumptious and my dog enjoyed a sausage too. All in all, an excellent place, the prices are very, very reasonable too. As as Arnie says "I'll be back", next time I'll leave a big tip as I completely forgot to this time! The staff were so nice I got distracted at the till, chatting... Very sorry! 😉.

The deli is just across the road from the Abbey, the town is beautiful. Once we had walked around on our visit, we went to go my words, the best place. Clean, tidy and taken seats in the garden. Ordered, coffee's and food. Proud to say I visited this little gem of a place. Food is as good as the deli, top rate.

We regularly visit this deli and the service and food is always outstanding. The food and coffees are full of flavour with good portions. Great value. This is a lovely independent place and isn’t your typical chain style setup- give it a go!

chaotic and very slow service. tried to order a piece of cake and another coffee after breakfast. waitress failed to return. on the plus side coffee and breakfast was very good. had to wait an eternity for it to appear though. then queue to pay,10 minutes.OK train the staff and get your act together, and you will be great.will return see if any improvement.

Terrific choice of cakes and savoury products along with good seating area both inside and out. The cakes look delicious and really do taste as good as they look. Very nice Coffee and Staff, so friendly and helpful. If you are cycling it’s a great stop as you can put the bikes safely out the back.
