Bears Bar and Grill in Rother

These pizzas are epic!!! Had a half and half giant pizza. I think it's a tad expensive at £25+ but you can't fault the taste of the pizza itself. Stacked with toppings too. I ate my whole half!Seating wasn't very comfy though, and the garlic mayo wasn't my thing (I'd have preferred a light mayo or garlic and herb but they don't have many dip options).Definitely coming back for all you can eat night!

Great place to celebrate any occasion with your family and friends or just for drinks and nibbles, great atmosphere,music and sports. Lovely staff that are always helpful and friendly. Tasty food at affordable prices. Our go place for any Birthday party, will definitely go back and recommend this pub.

Not a craft beer pub. Really basic selection of beers at REALLY high prices (£6.50 for a pint) and just a very bog standard sports bar with the usual (pretty decent) pub food. Does have a cool light but that’s about all that sets it apart from any other normal sports bar pub.Edited this to a 2 because I got pretty sick after eating here!! They use old oil.

I really love the pizzas from Thirsty Bear, especially the vegetarian one with artichokes. The dough is very well made and the pizza has a generous amount of olive oil. 😋😋😋

Impressed with the selection & tastes of the Pizza's here. A little pricey but acceptable taking into account the bubbly, friendly/helpful staff & a warm interior setting.Really loved the large pizza size. It was LARGE, and despite my friend and I being starving when we entered the place, we only managed to eat 2 slices each before asking for a doggy bag and having to loosen our clothes a bit.

Table service performed by a very efficient bar tender, you get well looked after.The pizza here is really good and they are absolutely huge, but you can also buy by the slice.Good choice of drinks, plus sport being shown on overhead panels.

I visited today with my God Son and his mother for an early dinner. They had both been before and enthused about it and I'm now a convert to this super pizza restaurant. We all had slices of pepperoni pizza and I decided to be brave and go for two slices. WOW, the pizza base was amazing and it had a good sized crust. To say the toping was generous would be an understatement! I struggled to finish my two slices but wasn't going to leave anything as it was too delicious to waste. The waiting staff were fantastic, attentive but not fussy and the chef was a delight. For the quality of the pizzas, I considered the prices charged are very reasonable. These guys are Pizza Pros and I'm looking forward to visiting them again. They make the offerings of Dominoes and Pizza Hut look mediocre at best!

One of the best pizza places i've been. The owner and staff are very friendly and great company. Not only the food menu but also the drinks are well put together.

I received table service for a pint on the first floor terrace. Nice to be out in the open air but not much of a view due to the high rise flats around. Outdoor heating a bonus although I didn't need it. Friendly staff and generally a cool place to socialize or reflect. Would recommend.

Great restaurant with the opportunity to eat enormous quantities of pizza at a great price. Beer selection wasn't bad but they were out of stock of our first choices. Venue was Covid friendly with checking in being mandatory. Puddings were OK. Service was OK. Worth visiting and we would go back again.
