Bistro at Etchingham Station in Rother

Very welcoming, great pizza! Had a window seat to the platform watching the trains pass by..... Go visit this out of the ordinary restaurant for great food and atmosphere.

I have been eating, from time to time, at the Bistro at the Station for some four years and I have never been disappointed, The pizzas are not stodgy like at some restaurants and are the best pizzas north of the Alps; the light lunches also are excellent as are the desserts. Thoroughly recommended!

Delightful small cafe, set in what was the Etchingham Station waiting room Plenty of covered outside seating available in the garden, tea coffees lunches, served by friendly staff. Good place to pop into after a country walk.

Curious little award-winning bistro at Etchingham station. We were looking for a place to have breakfast as we were driving nearby and Google maps suggested this. Friendly service, excellent coffee, delicious coffee cake and good cooked breakfast. Also it has its own customer car park (entrance on the right as you turn off main road) so no need to pay and display!

Nice and cozy. We had the place booked out for a birthday celebration and the waiting staff were very helpful and friendlyWe used our own decorations and cake and the staff made the meals ahead of time including vegan and gluten free options. The food was great and I'm sure their regular menu is as goodOne of us was able to just walk out of the Bistro and onto a train back to London so no complaints at all about transport linksOur group was perhaps a little too large for the venue but we still had enough seats for everyone and it never felt overly cramped

The friendliest place to spend time and the fact that they do amazing coffee and lovely food is just a bonus. Gorgeous pizza on a Friday evening, and wonderful brunches on a Saturday. Beautiful gardens (with topiary detail, and so calm you forget you're by the station). Anyone who can becomes a 'regular' and Paul, Julie, Gem, Luce and the team always make you feel so welcome. I'm sure my car knows how to get there better than it does to get me home! Can't praise it highly enough...

Paul and Julie are the most welcoming of couples who really do all they can to make sure you keep coming back. All their staff are friendly and attentive and everyone involved goes to make sure this young business has every chance of success. The guest chef nights and the winter warmers......yum yum! Oh not to be on diet!!
