All round great place for great tasting fish, chips, battered sausage, curry sauce, chilled soft drinks....in fact everything you expect to find in a good chippy and then there's the service, prompt, always with a smile and friendly word. Customer parking around the corner on Beeching rd ( sign marked)

Hair in battered cod and chips weren't done properly. rude manners and I had to pay more for extra chips via not understanding!

WOW! Excellent Cod and Chips, Haddock and chips from Blue Anchor, never tried them before. We lived in Bexhill-on-Sea 11 years, bought Cod and Chips, Haddock and chips etc from all the fish and chip shops we knew of. Some good others not so. Away from Bexhill-on-Sea for 6 years and having recently returned, today tried Blue Anchor. Won't be going back to any other fish and chip shops. Dedicated parking on the side street is a real bonus.

Always excellent fish and chips, decent sized, chunky pieces, crispy batter and plenty of chips. Added bonus is that it's very easy to park as there is dedicated parking to the side of the shop.

Lovely fish and chip shop.Best fish and chips in town , really friendly guys in there. Cooked fresh to order.Worth a visit. Easy parking to the side opposite fire station.

I will not use them again, my food wasn't cooked propley and staff are unclean. I saw staff picking the noses and not washing there hands. another time my daughter was treated badly. Never use again

The Blue Anchor has parking space down the side of the shop which is brilliant as London Rd can get busy and there is no parking directly outside the entrance. The food here is lovely all cooked fresh when you order and unlike some other places there fish is not dripping with fat, justnice and crispy. They serve there food in a cardboard box and there sizes are generous. They have a very substantial menu so can cater for different tastes. They are happy to take a phone order and always ask when you would like to collect. The people themselves are very welcoming, polite and friendly. You always feel like a valued customer. I would totally recommend this business having tried a few chip shops I and my family don't go anywhere else.

Super fish and chips. Always nicely cooked, and good crispy batter. Guys that run it are decent fellows too. Recommended.

I've had fish and chips from here a few times now and have recommended to some of my friends/clients and I must say I'm always VERY impressed! Lovely portion sizes and the fish is always so beautiful and white! If you like a lovely bit of fish and chips for a reasonable price this is the place to go! Highly recommend!

Had a really lovely piece of Huss from here last night. Nice to see a good quality local chippie mixing it up the town centre boys.
