China Garden in Rother

I am 38 years old and it’s been there as long as I can remember take aways don’t stop open for years if there not good ! Food is lovely! Always hot ! There the most honest and nice people you could wish to meet! ☺️

Love this Chinese. The owners are lovely, the food is amazing. Especially the spring rolls, the bean sprouts and chicken sweet and sour. Miss going to this place and will be glad when it re-opens when the covid situation changes.

Great little takeaway, staff always happy and polite and food never fails me so good I have it for lunch the next day when there's leftovers 😋

I would NOT buy from this Chinese again, SO GREASY, NO FLAVOUR, I ORDERED SINGAPORE VERMICELLI - FULL OF GREASE AND VERY VERY BLAND, CHICKEN CURRY- YET AGAIN GREASY AND BLAND BLAND BLAND,

I was very impressed with China Garden.As we are new to the area we have been looking for a good takeaway to get some grub from for a while now.We decided to try China Garden as it is close to our house and we were very happy with are whole experience.The lady greeted us with a smile when we walked through the door, to me this is very important as it make me feel like they are happy to have our custom.We took a little time to choose from the menu that had been placed on the wall.First impressions of the place was clean and tidy and well kept.We placed an order and I had sweet and sour chicken chicken kung po and egg fried rice.It took 10 minutes to cook up but the lady who was serving us had time to have a little chat with me.She was warm and friendly and answered all my question in fact I felt like we had made friends by the time I left the shop.When we got home, I tucked into some of the tastiest sweet and sour chicken I have ever had, there was nothing I could complain about, it was moist and tender the egg fried rice was perfect with enough to fill my belly.The chicken kung po was something new I wanted to try, I had never had it before but I can tell you this, I will be ordering it again as it was amazing, if you have ever eaten sweet and sour chicken hong kong style before, it is a lot like that but it had a mild spice to it, just enough so it doesn't blow your mouth out but you can taste it.I was very impressed with this.The takeaway has a 5 star food hygiene rating which makes me feel like I made a brilliant choice in ordering from here.Well done China Garden, I think from now on I will be ordering from you.:D

A very good takaway. owners Chinese but do a wide range of menus including English and Indian, fish and chips, etc. Good family owned for many years. Hugh.

Excellent food and friendly service been using this Chinese since a child many owners but standard of food hasn't changed
