Happy House in Rother

Unhappy house :( about 6 months ago I had a Chinese from here and it was excellent but just had a delivery and it was the worst Chinese I've ever had, everything was dripping with fat and chow mein was black and dripping with oil, sweet and sour was more like sour water, can't believe I've recommended this to people, avoid at all costs, im gutted

Really tasty food tastes better than it looks.Chicken is really good doesn’t taste fake

Just down the road from The Landgatesitting between The Queens p/h and Yummies kebab.The Happy House doesn't look much from the outside, but the staff are always happy, the menu is plentiful something for everyone, and reasonably priced. You also get generous portions. The crispy duck is the best in Rye. This is a regular of ours today the food was very flavoursome and nutritious. However today the Satay Chicken on Skewers was lacking in flavour and the chicken slightly greasy.Despite this little upset we will still continue to use The Happy House.Give it a try.

We arrived in Rye on a Friday evening, hungry. Happy House was a few days down from where we were staying and we ordered thinking we'd have to wait a while but 25mins later, we had some of the most delicious Chinese food we've ever had. Piping hot, full of flavour and brilliant value too.

Cheap ingredients equals cheap smirks, it's ok for the average Chinese eater but for people that know about proper flavours and quality, avoid at all costs!!! as the saying goes "can't beat a yous" Proper disappointed 🙁

Disgusting would not recommend, sweet sour sauce like water, curry sauce bitter and awful taste, crispy chilli beef no flavour tasted of old chip oil, chicken stays full of grease and flavourless

please dont order from there,we were told over the phone the price to pay.when it arrived the deliver man told us £10 more than we were told.he was very rude about it.when we paid the extra £10 it was cold and the order was wrong.it isnt the first time we been there,but it will be the last time.please please dont order from there.i dont want to put a star but it wont let me post this if i didnt.

Do yourself a a big favour and make sure that you avoid this place with the eyes closed when walking down on that street.That place should get an award for the worse food ever produce in the history of UK and China!!You better eat straight from the toilet,before you flush the water!In my opinion,that cook should be arrested for poisoning people on the daily basis!We have to get rid of these criminals!

Do not eat here under any circumstances! even if all other nearby restaurants are closed, you would be better to starve, you're stomach would thank you for it. I called Happy House immediately after eating two bites of my food to complain & offer advice on the matter only to be spoken to by what sounded like a child going through puberty who has just been told off! no offer of a refund & I was shouted at down the phone. If you want to make yourself I'll then eat here. Happy House had one opportunity to make right and the purposely chose not too. Good luck to if you go there!
