Delicious hot chocolate! They have a wide selection of blends and non-dairy milk options too. I went with the 75% with oat milk and it was perfect - good bitter taste with just a hint of sweetness. It's like drinking liquid chocolate, yum!

Always meant to try this place when I have visited Rye so today on my way back to the car I bought 2 of the milk chocolate with sea salt. First issue is that they only take cards. I work in retail management and have had to accept cash all through the pandemic. The only other place I have encountered this was at a restaurant in Kensington. I paid by card and went back to the car. Both my father and I have a sweet tooth and we both found our drinks oversweet. I later realized that having paid by card I hadn't been given a receipt and wasn't offered one either. Overall I wasn't impressed with the service and the price was high for a mediocre product. Will not recommend or return.

Genuinely luxurious hot chocolate. Dozens of options from 100% dark to lovely, light milk chocolate. Long queues and write pricey, but worth a wait and worth at least once visit. Parking is a bit hit and miss on the nearby streets.

Wow. A small gem for Rye. A hot chocolate shop. All are made to order from a selection of over 50. All with different flavours and strengths. The queue went out the door. We opted for the popular 34% hotchocolate with a premium marshmallow. It was worth the wait. Outstanding hotchocolare. Well done Kloop.

We order a 70% dark chocolate with cinnamon and it was amazing

Great selection of chocolates with helpful tasting notes. I had the 43% milk hot chocolate and it was good and thick, but not quite hot enough and I had to drink it very quickly. Partner had the white hot chocolate and it was lush.

My first time at a café dedicated solely to hot chocolate and can’t recommend highly enough! Very tasty and extremely rich - perfect for a cold winter’s day.

Well. I’ll start off by saying that this is the nicest hot chocolate I’ve ever had. Period. I visited this charming little shop based in rye overlooking the flats and harbour. As you walk in your presented with a large menu of drinks which are arranged by %. The higher the number the more chocolate taste you get. I always aim for 34% range as I like mine sweet and milky. There’s a range of items to buy in the shop including the chocolate flakes so you can make your own at home (although it’s never the same as in the shop so make sure you buy one there).The staff are friendly and take time to advise on the right one for your taste. A range of diary free and vegan ones are available if needed. You will it be disappointed. On my recent visit i noted the shelves and signs are a bit more sturdy (after almost trashing the shop last time by knocking a sign over) so thats a bonus. Well worth a visit On a cold day

Expertly crafted indeed. Out of all Knoops branches, Rye makes the most consistent and delicious cup of hot chocolate. Made our day in Rye ❤️

Soooooo good, that we've been back three days in a row! Not cheap but oh so tasty! The staff were very friendly and were great at advising on what would suit your tastes. I've found my perfect combo. 34 milkshake with vanilla and seasalt. 34 Hot Chocolate with Ginger is also amazing!
