Lovely lunch before our paddle boat. Staff are friendly. Freshly made food on the spot and it was delicious.

First time here . After a nice paddle board journey from there launch to Bodiam Castle stopped off had a bit of lunch and a cider.Very nice. You can launch your kayak or paddle board for a ÂŁ5 fee ,parking is free on nice days best to ring ahead to see if they are able to accommodate you. They also run a camp site next door.

Delicious coffee with avocado đ„ & Halloumi on toast. Lovely outdoor space, can imagine itâs very busy in warmer weather

Really lovely cafe - great views out the huge windows even when the weather is a bit iffy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We would like to come back in summer to sit in the garden.Everything was great except we thought the hot dog was overpriced for what you get. It's pretty tiny (one regular sized sausage) and the bun was just cheap hot dog bun, nothing special. Weird that the sausage butty on the brunch menu is ÂŁ5.50, but the hot dog (which is essentially the samebut with mustard and onions) is ÂŁ8.50. If you compare it to the size of the halloumi flatbread, which is a similar price, you do feel a bit shortchanged. Halloumi flatbread was excellent though - really delicious!Beautiful gardens and setting!

Was nice place for a sunny drink.we came towards closing, got a drink, 2 burgers one with a Gluten Free bun which was all good. Chips came in a brown paper bag! But large portion, so 1 portion can feed 2 more than adequately. I had the halloumi fries with lovely chilli jam / sauce.Relaxed vibe

Walked to this cafe as had passed it a few times. Turned up around 5.45pm and infuriated to be told kitchen closed due to a function and anyhow closed at 7pm - could have a drink etc. Web-site clearly says 8pm and nothing online about functions. Now I understand - âsummerâ opening times are different, summer has finished and youâre supposed to know that? Sorry, another clueless business with zero customer orientation - no apology, in fact glee from the girl âwelcomingâ us

Always had a very good experience here. The menu is well thought out and the ingredients are high quality. Spanish influences even down to the very cold San Miguel beer. Especially good for breakfasts and if itâs sunny head outside.

Very busy half term day.The welcome by the girls on the tills were nice. They explained the seating but forgot to mention how to order if you choose outside seating and didnt offer a menu to take to the table. We placed our order at the outside bar and had to go inside to buy ice cream. The wait for the food was close to 1 hour. The chicken burgers we ordered wasnt worth the wait. The buns were not seeded as per the menu and they were too dry againt the crumbed chicken fillets. The fries came in an oil soaked brown bag.Overall experience : venue nice staff nice, food not worth the wait.

Fantastic warm, fresh scone with cream and jam - great value too at ÂŁ2.50. Loved the atmosphere and music here. Staff are very friendly and relaxed (very much so, which may not be to everyoneâs taste but I didnât mind!) Would love to come back when the weather is a bit better to try the outdoor seating!
