Huge yet delicious portions of traditional.fish and chips! Loved it. Busy place with a brief wait (5 minutes)

The fish was fresh. However, chips and the other sides were untastefull

We dined in and took away from here while staying in Rye. Both times the service was excellent (friendly, polite and fast) and the food was equally good (fish perfectly battered, chips crispy on the outside/fluffy on the inside, and pickled onions nice and crunchy). Best fish and chips we've had in a long time.

We hitchhiked from the beach to Rye and our helper was coming here, he said "the best fish and chips, well, anywhere". Yet to try, but he was convincing.

We eat here when we can and it's always good. Recently are during Rye Bonfire night and they was so busy. The food came out hot and was as good as ever. Best fish and chips in the area by far!

Very good mushy peas. curry sauce was nice. Good All Round Fish and chips, you will certainly not regret choosing Marino's Fish Bar. A Solid Choice. 4.5 Stars

Can’t moan about the fish here whatsoever. Very nice & a good size. Chips however were very average, indeed some may say poor.Also, if you eat in, this place isn’t exactly cheap for this type of cuisine. £40+ to feed a family of four.On the plus side, staff were nice.

To say I’m very disappointed is the understatement of the year. I was told this is the best fish and chip shop Rye has to offer. Forget it the food is terrible, dry overcooked and virtually inedible. £15.00 for two medium (tiny) overcooked cod and double dipped chip scraps. Starving so eat what we could with 0% enjoyment. Best bit was I had to wait 30 mins standing outside for this, you would think it would be fresh. You guys need to up your game, i for one will never use again or recommend. What a shame!

Great little shop/restaurant, got a last minute booking on a Friday evening. I'll be honest, I've had better fish. Not to say it was bad, but it wasn't amazing. The chips on the other hand...... Wow! Fresh, hot, crispy and large portions. Amongst the best I've had from a chip shop!Also, I wish they did their own fresh tartar sauce rather than packet.
