We dropped in for the first time for some food... I must say what an enjoyable meal, piping hot and jut melting in the mouth. Lovely service too. Thank you

Had a really ĺovely Sunday Roast. Nice pub and atmosphere. Staff were all nice and service was good as it was busy.

Stopped here on impulse. Ordered Sunday lunch. OMG best Sunday lunch I've ever had. Loads of fresh veg, beautifully cooked meat and a huge Yorkshire. Plus a huge piece of perfect crackling. Definitely worth a visit, lovey open fire and nice country pub ambience. It also does B&B

Great meal,lovely pub & a friendly atmosphere.

·

Food (and beer!) was good, in garden stables which were really nice on a very hot summers day, though that did mean an occasional nasty smell from the drains but this did not detract from the experience (thankfully!). Outside bar and a good children's play area meant everyone enjoyed the lunch!

Staying at The Oast House next door. The White Hart became our choice of destination for dinner. Good menu, range of beers, and nice friendly welcome. Great value (Sunday roast particularly good). Playground and great outdoor booths - great innovation! Large car park too.

Pub and restaurant wasnt overly busy and there was adequate staff levels. Food quality was average at best. Service was slow. I wont be rushing back.

Have eaten here twice, having given them the benefit of the doubt on the first offering. Food is mediocre at best, let down further by economy brand condiments. Nice garden and certainly a good place for a pint. I'll stick to crisps in the future though.

After a local take away letting me down the pub definitely stepped up to the mark. Not only did I order completely of menu they also done the food takeaway for me!! Nothing is ever to much trouble for them! Amazing customer service. Definitely recommend a visit.

Fab! We stayed for one night on the 3rd of June in a lovely cosy room with all mod cons. The food was delicious and every member of staff was so friendly, helpful and hardworking it was a pleasure to stay there.A lovely old pub with so much history and character. We will definitely be back, highly recommended.
