Orangery Tea Room in Rother

Love the food but interior starting to look unloved with cobwebs and dead fly's. I quick deep clean would sort but it's very high up!!

Definitely an undiscovered part of East Sussex. Lovely cakes, coffee, scones. Friendly staff, lovely walks around the lake & grounds.

As soon as you enter the gates you feel at peace. What a lovely escape from the bustle of life. The Orangery is well staffed with delicious food. The cakes looked fantastic.

Gorgeous food, very generous portions at reasonable prices.Wonderful views and staff, the bulk of whom are volunteers.

The orangery was lovely as ever. Staff friendly and helpful. The food was disappointing and expensive considering it was served on paper plates and tea in a paper cup. It felt like a train buffet. They said it was because of COVID. I would say a dishwasher would sterilise the pots etc.,

Lovely place to go for a walk and get a cream tea/coffee or better still have a delicious savoury cheese scone!

Went today with another couple. Ordering food was a nightmare, no cheese and no ham - these are basics. Tea was served in paper cups with a sealed container of nilkyou would think you were at a seaside cafe! Have been several times before and it was good. Will not be going back or recommending to anybody.

Lovely place to sit and eat but hard to relax with so many wasps around. Time of the year but I would recommend a waspinator on every table.

What a gorgeous location to eat cream tea in Capability Brown’s orangery. The scones were freshly baked, huge and absolutely delicious!

The staff is really friendly and drinks or food are amazing. A very cool place to have time with friends!
