Oriental Delight in Rother

Amazing food. Everyone enjoyed their food. Was a small trip from where we where staying at camber sands, but a quick and efficient phone call placed an order. There is a small shopping car park just round the corner that offers what they call a 'little shop' and is free for under 30 minutes. Ideal for stopping there, walk across road and up slightly to the Oriental express to pick up your food. And so tasty it was too, good selection. Only dropped a single mark as the prices where higher than expected, and by comparison to other Chinese takeaways we visited this year.

Great food but had to park a fair way away but the food made up for it

This place is always so busy, I don't know how the guy on the front desk does it, I swear he does not stop answering that phone!! Food is great, service is great, they're that busy because they're that good!!

Long wait times for gungy, minging food. But.... the delivery drivers are very friendly.This used to be fair take-away, not great but not terrible either. Not sure what's happened but the quality of the food has dived. A few other people have highlighted that the wait times for delivery are long, they are due to the popularity of the place and that they attempt to cover delivery to a large area, due to this you can pretty much guarantee that your food will not take a direct route and will be even more tepid and gungy by the time you get it. When you get it don't be surprised to either be the wrong order, dishes missing or dishes mixed up with something completely different.Not a great experience and you might get lucky, but I'm sure there are even worse takeaways.

Much better than my usual one in new romney. Good selection and ok prices like all the rest. Not as greasy as some others I have had and was done really quickly, the phone didn't stop when I was there so many other people must feel the same. Will be using them in the future

The Worst Chinese food I've ever had. Deep fried bread with sesame sprinkles is not NOT 'Prawn Toast'... rib tray half EMPTY yet most expensive in town. Never going to eat Asians Again. Or their food.

Great takeaway. The owner let us sit and eat our food inside during the annual Eye bonfire because it was raining and there was nowhere to go.Obviously they aren't setup to be a sit in restaurant but the owner was great and made it work.Would definitely recommend as the food was also brilliant

Took over an hour to arrive. Then missing item. They refused to rectify it. Prawn curry with mainly mushrooms! Gloopy sauce. 5 ribs in a meal for 3 ?? Absolutely foul. Look elsewhere. Horrendous waste of money.

Unfortunately we used this restaurant tonight. We called them just after they opened and got told delivery was 40 mins! Nearly an hour and a half later I called for a update and got told the delivery driver had only just left!!!!! Nearly two hours later I called again and got told he was not far away!!! When it finally turned up most the food was average apart from the Chinese roast pork which was 95% noodles and 5% pork. Really disappointing after waiting so long for it!! Over all good but food hit and miss and be prepared to wait a long time if you want delivery!! If honest we will not be using them again!!
