Rose and Crown Pub in Rother

Pub lunch. Lovely burger + enjoyed in the garden. Requested they modify a dish for us as a starter, they were very accommodating, it was delicious and filling. Beer was cold and refreshing, staff great, every thing as it should be.

Lovely pub in a very pretty location. Toilets were well lit and clean, the ladies have a small basket of sanitary products which is a lovely gesture. Decor was very welcoming. Would visit again if in the area

Amazing find, on our travels to Hailsham today we ventured into Burwash and came across the Rose and Crown pub. All the staff were so friendly and welcomed my wife and I and our Labrador Dog Stan! The food was incredible (see picture) a lovely Sunday roast, just what we needed! Thanks again, hope to visit again one day! A really reasonably priced meal in a really comfy pub, perfect for a rainy day. Stan even got a treat from the staff!Thanks again!

It was a wonderful stag do location, i have included a pic of me and the fellas enjoying a great night after a few drinkypoos, futhermore the waiter aksed me for a cheeky kiss said yes though futhermore aka obvs aka lovely man, would love to come again.

We came here for roasts on a Sunday and received such lovely service. All the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Thanks for a great time!

Stayed over for one night, excellent service, made to feel so welcome, exceptionally clean room, lovely atmosphere in the bar and a full English breakfast that was second to none.Thank you Mireille for being such a fabulous hostess you deserve a Gold Star 10/10

Driving through, we discovered this little gem, dog friendly pub. It was exceptionally busy, with all tables booked for lunch. We were told we could order food from the bar area. The staff member was on her own, dealing with food orders drinks orders, clearing tables, taking telephone bookings and she did a great job! Would highly recommend 👌

Lovely little country pub just off the very picturesque high street. Stayed one mid-week night in one of the B&B rooms. It was quite small but very comfortable and quiet. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Breakfast (full English) was of a high standard, and the evening meal we had was also most enjoyable. The menu included a good variety. Everything was beautifully prepared, and not over priced. Harveys beer went down well too.The only possible downside is limited parking, which could be a problem at busy times.Would definitely use again if in the area.
