A well established cafe that's very popular with all sorts, but especially bikers.Very reasonable prices, not quite full restaurant range, but does have great food offerings, including great breakfasts.Good-sized outdoor area, small 'restaurant' area and ample 'cafe' area.Great range of delicious traditional British puddings too!

The Cafe offers a 1950-60s style and is very popular with bikers. The Route 1066 Cafe operates 7 days a week and offers visitors a massive car park at the front of the café which makes parking up very convenient. A menu that offers wholesome food including breakfasts, lunches, snacks, cold & hot drinks, desserts and cakes. They also offer some great kid meals and vegetarian fare and play some terrific music, predominantly of the 1960s. Clean restrooms. Friendly staff and best Halloumi burger I've had in UK.

Great style and decor, friendly, helpful staff and now a bike clothing shop to boot. The food is good and a faur price. My partner and I go in every time we pass it on one of our road trips to Hastings. We love it.

Best place for a biker or biker aficionado to stop and have breakfast or lunch. Good vibe

Great place for breakfast/brunch. An excuse to go riding on your motorcycle. Not overly priced and a nice setting with a small motorcycle store inside. In summer, it can be overcrowded with motorcyclists but hopefully one day the owners will expand their café.

Love it, been twice, Friday and Sunday on way back home. Family run place with dad, gran, grandson. Fresh food, hot and cold drinks, milkshakes, coffee, tea and other goodies. Great mix of people, cars, bikes, couples young and old. I had the breakfast number 2 on way down. Hope to be back, on the bike, with stay on coast next year, see you soon, Steve.

A really good roadside cafe on the main road into Battle. The cafe is a traditional roadside establishment offering a good selection of standard fare. They also sell various collectibles and within there is a shop for bikers selling helmets, leathers and associated motorcycle accessories. Staff are helpful and polite. The food is very reasonably priced and the tea is strong ! What I really liked was that my English breakfast was beautifully cooked, very tasty and not in the least bit greasy. All in all a good stop off for a hearty breakfast.

Had a great breakfast here, good menu, fairly priced, food was delicious. Friendly, welcoming staff. No frills cafe, but delivers on everything that's important. Very clean toilets too, which always indicates the values of the owners. Would recommend. Photo is of the small English Breakfast.

Brilliant nostalgic place with a 60s 70s American dinner vibe serves Brilliant food nicely cooked and a large menu, great music and atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Normally some fantastic bikes parked up and a great location for a stop outside Hastings well recommended.
