Great to have authentic Greek Cypriot food in Battle/Hastings / whatlington area. Just off the A21. The sign “Greek meze “ caught my eye so we had to try it out. Delicious . Also have souvlaki platters, Greek wine and dessert.

This place is magic. A very old pub and the greek food is delicious. And the people are very friendly as well

We had lunch today after inadvertently passing by and recognising it from our last visit September 1921. An excellent pub with good ale and superb food, friendly staff. Shame this isn't closer to home.

Poor food, wrong order delivered late and cold. Pudding ordered to make up for first course but it was inedible. Waitress was falling asleep on her feet. Such a shame menu looked good

Delicious Greek food served promptly by very polite and friendly staff. Great atmosphere and the food was superb. Good choice of dishes. Easy parking and will be going back very soon. Thank you.

Very unpleasant! Waiters was very nice and polite but when we asked to change our bread because it was burn to crisp (to our liking) - OMG -swearing and yelling from kitchen was just shocking.

Beautiful traditional pub with a lovely garden. The food here is amazing, the Greek pitta burger was very nice and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Will be back again.

Fantastic pace to eat as a family, the portions were generous and staff lovely. Don't miss out on seeing the ~600 year old well which was only discovered during building work in 1988.

Had main sharing meal one slice of halloumi two slice of tomato. 4 slice of cucumber. And a few sausages.humus the size of a quarter what you can buy in shops £12.00 could have paid less that 4 quid in shop .garlic bread 3 slices for £ 3.00 so are couldn't eat it. Lovely pub. Nice staff . Would not go back for food terrible

Stopped of for something to eat, pure chance. Lovely little pub, friendly staff and great service. Food was top notch, there was 4 of us, we each had a different meal from the menu and each meal was just great. It was well worth the money .So if your ever passing by, then stop and have some food, you will not be disappointed, but total impressed.
