Thai Chava in Rother

Wonderful restaurant. Food is great however the service is exceptional. The people running Thai Chava restaurant are so kind and considerate.

Very good meal, well presented. Initially thought the waitress was quite surly but realized that she more concerned about serving food and drinks than engaging in polite tittle tattle. Once meals were served she engaged with all the guests and spent quite some time with us, very friendly and pleasant company. Highly recommended

Very nice food. Not much choice of dessert as many items not available. Don't sit in window as door doesn't shut properly and don't sit near back as have doors open ro courtyard causing cold air around your legs!

Very bad experience with customer service. The waitress was so rude. made us all uncomfortable. Ambiance was awkward. However the food was delicious and amazing.

RUDE WAITRESS. -We went to this restaurant as we were visiting Bexhill on a Sunday evening. The only Thai Restaurant open and was 4.7 stars. Already hungry and been craving for thai food we went in. Waited 5 minutes. The only waitress was in the counter doing something and literally saw us coming in but didnt even bother to offer us table. Restaurant was not busy and there was only 1 table occupied. We approached her and asked if she can give us a table for 4 as my other friend is coming. Directed us to our table, 3 of us. Gave us the menu and informed her that we are ready to order and she said "Are you not going to wait for the other one?" I said its alright she's not coming now. She smirked and said "why telling me its table for four!" Then I apologized and said shes not coming sorry" I don't know what's her issue as there's just 2 occupied tables there. Quiet Sunday night. She was tussing and doing this head movement. Sarcastic. Passive-aggresive. Appailing and miserable thai waitress. We ordered and the look on her face while serving us was so dreadful. The food was fantastic but customer service matters. I dont know if she's the owner but I hope they'll do something about it. She's so rude. I didnt finish my food and felt uncomfortable. We paid and went home. Very bad experience. Not going back there for this reason.

This may very well be the best Thai restaurant I've been to! The waitress was very attentive and helpful and the food...wow the food is just to die for! We were a group of 5 people and we were all incredibly happy with the food and the service. This is now my new favourite place to go for a treat. YUM!

This Thai restaurant is a hidden gem in Bexhill. I have eaten in hundreds of different thai restaurants over the years and the food and service at Chava beats them all. Without fail the best Thai food I have eaten in the UK. I cannot believe somewhere as good as this was right on my doorstep and I didn't even know about it. Would highly recommend and will be back next time I want a Thai dinner. Amazing!

This is my go to restaurant, as I am a huge fan of red and green curries. Being a little off the traditional reservation, ate their on Christmas Day. It was fully booked. Fabulous food, clean and lots of space between tables.

We came across this little restuarant whilst out for a wallk this evening. Shared Duck Spring Rolls, Red Thai Chicken, Cashew Beef, Coconut Rice and Pak Choi with Bean Sprouts. Food was excellent, freshly made, delicately spicy and all very tasty. The service was good as well. We had read an earlier comment regarding a waitress, although English language was obviously not the first language of our waitress and wearing a face mask did make communication a little difficult, our waitress was polite and conscientious. We will definitely be back. 🙂

Fantastic Bangkok style Thai cuisine. Not too spicy, but super-flavoursome, very authentic. Best Thai food that I’ve had for a long time. Great service and lovely people.
