Would not go there again. Had sea bass which was very small considering the price and it came with loads of potato smothered in mint. Mint does not go well with fish. Vegetables were sparse and very hard. So hard could not cut them. Disgraceful meal.

A little pricey on the meals but a very nice pub, friendly staff, lots outside seating & parking. Recommend the fish & chips again a bit pricey but there again it is a long way from the sea

**Hidden Gem** So pleased we stumbled across this delightful place! Very welcoming staff and absolutely beautiful food, we ate in the garden due to it being such a warm day, but would have been happy inside which was very cozy. Dog friendly too with water bowls provided, five stars.

Absolutely fantastic pub, great atmosphere and friendly staff and locals. The food is presented beautifully and is delicious. I am sadly not a local but I will be driving the 30 minutes again it's well worth it.

A wonderful pub, with amazing staff and a very polite young man (I assume the land people's son?) Who must have seen I was struggling a bit and chatted to me about the walk I was on.Good lad, will make an excellent landlord one day!

Lovely genuine country pub with a decent drink variety. We had a three course meal which was all brilliant food and very good value.Would not hesitate to return.

Was staying local so we walked the dog. Haven't visited a pub like this for a long while, lovely atmosphere for me a nice selection of beers and plenty of other drinks on offer. We had lunch which was lovely prices were what you'd expect and staff ever so welcoming. Thumbs up from me, so if you're passing make sure you call in

Very attentive friendly staff and fabulous food. I had the pleasure of dining here last night with friends. I had the beetroot and gin infused smoked salmon, which was served with a horseradish cream and a delicious little fricassee lettuce salad on the side. It was followed by roast haunch of venison which was cooked to perfection lovely medium rare. It was absolutely sublime. It was served with beautiful greens and a fantastic bubble and squeak. All this was followed by a yummy cheese board with quince jelly, frozen grapes and a good selection of crackers. It was all presented beautifully. I thoroughly enjoyed the food and ambiance. I will most certainly be be returning for another visit very soon.
