The Bear Inn in Rother

Had some nice pie and fish n chips. Good food, nice location, nice staff, but a bit on the slower side.

Booked this hotel and was told by management that I could cancel my reservation, however they still took my money. Contacted to see why this was the case and after waiting long periods with no response, and having to chase they would not refund (even though I sent screenshots of my phone calls) - now they are not responding to my messages. Shocking customer service on all levels.

The best pub garden I've been in for a long time. Immaculately maintained, beautiful view.

Came for a meal with the family, the service was fantastic. Staff were helpful and friendly, food was amazing, with good portions and reasonably priced. We had a great time, we didn't feel rushed at all which was nice. Would highly recommend a visit.

I went for an early dinner and a couple of pints, good decor, friendly staff, perfectly nice food and a building atmosphere as more people came in. I thought it well worth the visit

Best Burger ever, I've driven all over the south east looking for the best burger experience, I've finally found it, and I'm so happy.I love this pub, the staff are awesome and we are always well looked after.Can't wait for my next outing with my friend to visit this wonderful pub.Updated 01/03/22This pub has changed only for the better, love this pub still have such good times, staff are wonderful and I genuinely really like the atmosphere, sports TV and the food just keeps getting better

Pauline and staff are very welcoming and friendly,Booked an emergency stay as our house sale did not complete on time, found myself and partner with the dog homeless.The room was bright airy and clean, amazing views across Burwash lovely large bed and shower.The room is well set up for the dog , dog walks just outside our patio door could walk for miles.Great food and atmosphere and the dog was also welcomed for dinner.A stressful day turned into a relaxing pleasant evening with the locals.we will definitely re visit .
