Very friendly owners and good spot to park at night your campervan

Only stopped for a drink but very friendly pub and nice beer and wine.

Beautiful pub, friendly and helpful staff. 😀

WOW! Royston Vassey springs to mind. A really uncomfortable place to be if you have the normal amount of fingers and toes.

It was probably 10 years ago when I last visited the Iden Bell, not much has changed with the pub itself. It is a charming pub with a pleasant atmosphere, clean and tidy and they are dog friendly, so you can bring your best friend along with you.Had a great meal that was very reasonably priced and the staff were friendly and helpful.I would definitely recommend the Iden Bell, charming little pub to visit should you be close by.

Stayed here for 4 nights for a mini break. Had a great time. Room was very comfy and clean.....slept very well indeed!! Vicky and her team were very welcoming and friendly. Good choice of breakfast included and nice tea and coffee in the room. Breakfast was also served to suit you which was good (within reason of course). Ate in the restaurant a couple of times and food was of a high standard. Also loved the fact it was very low key and informal. Will definitely be revisiting and highly recommend if you're going to Rye (10 mins drive) or Hasting (only 25 mins and a nice drive).

After a 40 minute wait, in a restaurant with only 2 other dinners. A starter of baked camembert with focaccacia came out as barely warm not melted with a single slice of toast. We cancelled our roasts and left. There was no smell of cooking and offering the choice of 3 meat, I suspect it would all be microwaved. Avoid!!

Nice pub. Had a Sunday roast there and was good. Service was a bit slow even though they weren't that busy

·

Nice and quiet. Didn't have to book (a Wednesday evening). Both my wife and I had a nice meal, her's a home made pie that was packed with chicken and ham. Beer good too.

A warm welcome when we arrived and an easy to understand one way system. The food was very nice & my favourite drink when driving Adam's Ghost Ship 0.5. I was also able to charge my car which is a bonus & actually how we came to be eating here.
