Fast service and lovely atmosphere. Ordered a couple fish and chips with my friend. Crispy thin batter and lovely tangy tartar sauce but unfortunately the chips were really lacking. Kind of half cooked and probably didn't soaked the starch out enough.

Superb pub with a great menu! Amazing outdoor space with plenty of room for kids to play. Food was delicious, and staff were lovely. Really recommend!

We throughly enjoyed our dining experience at the Bull Inn.We are not locals but it was recommended to us by another local pub that was fully booked. The place is warm and the staff were very welcoming which was key for me being black in a very white rural area.Quality food with huge portion sizes.I would say that the place is not very tall person friendly, even being 5ft I found myself having to tuck to avoid the beams😅Otherwise the food and service was great.

A friend of mine recommended this place and I am so glad they did! We loved that there wasn't a giant menu! They only thing I would say was I wasn't asked how I wanted my steak cooked but other than that....All the staff were lovely and very attentive. Everywhere was lit up with fairy lights and had the two big fireplaces going. Have recommended to others and will be coming back!

A lovely friendly pub with a great choice of delicious well priced food served by helpful kindly & professional staff . The service was brisk & considering how busy the venue was our order arrived very quickly.I would thoroughly recommend this pub.

We moved to the area 3 years ago and only just discovered this stunning pub. It’s officially our favourite. The interior design of this ancient pub is perfection, from the exposed brick work to the atmospheric Edison style lighting and walls of charming fabric bound books. It’s everything one would want in a pub, cosy corners to throw back a Malbec and incredibly kind and helpful staff willing to run across a rainy car park to return items left at the table. We met lovely people and chatted to them about nothing, we met lovely dogs and wished we had brought our own. We sat by the fire and stared at the rolling hills outside, being lashed by the February rain and never wanted it to end. Our two year old daughter was not only made welcome but was adored by all. You’re spoilt for choice with the amount of beers on tap and even the wine glasses are beautiful. Well done guys, this is how you do pubs.

A Wednesday midday meal which we enjoyed from 2pm. Great welcoming service and food better than expected. This was winter and the food was exceptionally hot. I would definitely eat here again.

We came for Sunday lunch just this last weekend (week before Christmas). Service outstanding and food really excellent - the ribeye was top quality and the turkey with all the trimmings a real treat as was the apple crumble.Nice and festively decorated too.Proper pub - we loved it.

We had an amazing meal here with friends. The service was fantastic, the food absolutely fabulous. This has made our top place to eat. It is a traditional pub setting, with a great pub menu. The staff are great.

Good food, cute interior, decent beers. However there were some one liner joke placards around the pub, most of them were cute, but caught two racist ones:“You can tell German wine from vinegar by the label”, maybe they never had a good Riesling.“Why is American beer served cold? So you can tell it from urine” - maybe craft beers from all over the US hasn’t arrived in this little Kent village.Always find it infuriating to see these little “harmless” remarks propagating stereotypes and racism in society.
