Lovely food and good service 👍🏻

·

Service can prove a little slow when busy on a Friday or Saturday evening. Tasty food though.

All the food was amazing, more veg and paneer than we expected, good quality ingredients and amazing flavours.

Really disappointing, raw chicken and tasteless food. We have been coming here for years and always had good service and tasty meals. I dug into the curry I had ordered and it was still piping hot after a 30 minute journey and it was very watery and tasteless and the rice was lumpy and clumped together, obviously just defrosted in the microwave. Half way through I decided to check the chicken inside and it was still pink in places, I stopped eating at this point and felt physically sick, still too early to tell if I have salmonella. I phoned the restaurant and explained, they said that they didn’t have any other complaints from other customers yet, they didn’t want to see the photos and that they will give me a free dish when I’m passing next, I said I’m put off by anything from the Claypot at the moment so then they said they’ll issue a credit note instead despite asking for a refund apparently this has to be authorised by a signature… Why not offer to send a cheque or BACS… I don’t like leaving negative reviews but I’ve written this review because I don’t feel like I’ve been taken seriously enough or listened to. Really disappointed and won’t be returning.

Ordered a prawn phall with a tarka dahl and got some free popadoms. If you are a fan of phall curries you will know that they are hotter than vindaloo curries by some large margin, unfortunately it wasn't spicy or hot and tasted very bland and watery. The tarka dahl was also quite tasteless and didn't have the classic smoky flavour. One of the popadoms wasn't cooked properly and was raw in the centre. We won't be returning as I am sorry to say this is the most bland Indian food I have ever tasted.

Huge portions, delicious food and really helpful staff. Inside is clean and smooth with good atmosphere. Now this restourant is my best pick for Indian cuisine! Amazing value for money! Will be back for sure!

Nice little curry house, unfortunately for us the service was lovely and friendly but slow, the main course was a very long wait considering there were only three tables of people in the restaurant, received a chicken dish instead of lamb, the other chicken dish well where do i start! Never had to spit food out before! It was inedible and totally burnt, was replaced very quickly (considering our first wait) with the originally ordered lamb dish however the lamb was over cooked and dry and hard, too much gee for me also. Good mushroom rice and naan bread, but won't be returning soon sorry to say.
