The Curlew is an amazing experience. The service and each of the bites are one of the best memories of our trip. Don’t miss their cheese platter to close your dinner.

What a lovely place. The food was out of this world. We had the tasting menu which really is very good value. It was the wine and extra drinks which pushed the price up. But such wonderful combinations and tastes. The atmosphere was great. We had a drink before, although the seating for a drink is more suited to couples ( we were a 4). A place to add to one of those places you would go for a special occasion

My partner actually started to cry because of how good the food was during our meal. The staff were incredibly attentive, knowledgable and professional. They really knew their stuff, and this wasn't just a stepping stone type job for them - they genuinely loved what they were doing. It was really refreshing to see this, and it really made my partner's birthday and holiday.I would recommend going to this restaurant, and even booking a holiday just for it.

The food was outstanding and we can't wait to go back there soon. The staff are so nice and there is a lovely atmosphere in the place. If I could give it more the 5 stars I would.

I wish I could give more than five stars! This restaurant deserves at least ten! The food was beyond exceptional (we did the feast menu and were blown away by the deliciousness of every course!), the service perfect and the ambience through the roof (loved the music especially!). This is our new favorite restaurant and we cannot wait to return!

We went to the Curlew for dinner and had a fabulous time. They took care of us from the minute we arrived. The little touches, a birthday card for the birthday girl, our name stamped on a tag on the flowers and even hand sealed menus! The feast menu threw up complication with a fish allergy and they were nothing but accommodating. We tried things we would never have ordered, and enjoyed them and the timings between sittings were perfect and gave us time to enjoy! It was an amazing experience and one we will return to if in the area again!

My family and I booked here the day of and we were so lucky The Curlew had availability! The food and wine choices were incredible, staff were lovely (so accommodating) and the beautiful restaurant. Exactly what this area needs!

This is a hidden gem! Gorgeous fine dining set up in a relaxed atmosphere, rural location so best to take a cab if, like us, you want to sample more than one of the extensive wines on the list! They do have parking too.The biodynamic Gruner we had was amazing! The service was perfect, I didn’t catch the name of the gentlemen who looked after us (on Thursday 8 July in the evening) but he made our evening pretty special, talking us through wines (and offering tastings) and generally being attentive throughout. The dining experience was relaxed - just how we like it! We ordered a few small plates, then a few more, followed by the most delicious cheese board and a little extra sweet walnut treat was presented to mark our anniversary - very sweet!Overall good value for excellent modern British and European food and service, we will be back!

My husband brought me here for our anniversary. When he phoned to book they asked if it was a special occasion and so when we arrived they presented us both with a special cocktail to congratulate us which was a lovely surprise. The staff were very attentive and the food was lovely! The menu changes regularly depending on what is available and in season and the menu is fairly small, but everything we had was delicious! I actually ordered an extra bread that we took home with us! The idea of the menu is that dishes are sharing dishes, so it meant that we got to taste a few different things, having a few bites each. This is way more filling than you think and neither of us could even manage desert! It was a lovely experience! I would definitely return and recommend others to try!
