Highly recommend any visitor to drop by this rare and entertaining spot! Finding somewhere like this in Rye if all places is just wild….Contrary to their line up on their website, there is always live music…. Every night. Drinks are reasonably priced and the service was super friendly / professional.

A jazz bar. Not a bar that plays jazz and serves football fans lager to make money, a wine bar with the odd other drink. Live music every night, decent clientele and run by a charming young man. Rye should be proud. Well done.

Now this is a must if you're ever in Rye for the evening. We went 2 nights in a row, both with different live musicians. The first night, a lovely chap named Steve playing the piano, chatting with the customers around him, taking requests and putting his own spin on things. It really made our night and the end of our 3rd wedding anniversary rather nice. He even did a few, guess this song with a few notes and all around were getting involved. On to other things, the table only service operated with a push of button on your table was rather poor on the first night and took a rather long time for them to take our order, it wasn't exactly packed and orders coming in from every direction. They were just a bit slow but Steve was keeping everyone distracted with his whit and his music. We stayed until Steve finished his set and lots of demands for him to stay and keep playing but unfortunately all good things must come to an end.We enjoyed our night so much that we went back the next and our final night, a different musician playing the guitar this time, I'm unsure of how you spell his name, so don't wanna make a mistake. He seemed like a nice chap too, chatting to the audience but didn't really take requests and no "games" like Steve had done. The service the second night was far better, with staff constantly floating around, topping up wine and quickly taking drink orders and it was much busier that night compared to the last but different team running the floor. Both nights were great, with different vibes. We were lucky on both nights and got two chairs right next to the action. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would definitely go back. There is a lot of wine to choose from and we drank our fair share, unfortunately the music stole the show and I can't remember a single wine we drank, they were all enjoyable from what I remember.

Josh was an amazing server. He was on top of it all night and made our experience absolutely spectacular! The drinks were great as well! Definitely recommend and will be back soon.

Well this is an absolute gem of a place to visit.The atmosphere is super relaxed, the staff are very helpful and the food and drinks where outstanding.The pianist that was performing was very entertaining and I liked that he was open to try requests! Very skilled!Best of all though, this place allows dogs!!My girl Cleo was very pleased with this 🐾🧡

I thought I'd died and gone to my own special heaven when I came here - jazz and champagne bar - the clue is in the name! Fantastic atmosphere lighting and decor. We were made to feel very welcome and yes, the champagne was good and very reasonbly priced. As we visited at 5.30pm one cold February evening, so we did not have a chance to experience the live music, but we really enjoyed the general soundtrack. Can't wait to return.

What an uplifting surprise this was! On a day trip some friends and I stumbled upon this little hidden gem on the way to search for some dinner.The atmosphere was perfect, with a classy vibe accompanying the high quality decor.The champagne was excellent, the playing of music transported me into another world.On the walls it had a gallery of a wide range of iconic jazz musicians over the years.Highly recommended!

Fantastic venue, live music atentative friendly staff, very knowledgeable on wine or champagne with a wide range for any taste or budget. Best place in Rye for a classy night out with your partner or friends. If you haven't discovered it your missing out.

Went here with my wife for her birthday, had a wonderful time. Staff are attentive and friendly. Cocktails and champagne very good and top quality live jazz being played. The combination of this and the quirky decor and low lighting made it a particularly special birthday evening. We will definitely return.
