The New Inn in Rother

I read about the New Inn in the ' What's On' magazine so booked for a celebration meal out.The conservatory was where we were seated. Although it was a warm evening it was nice and airy. Fairy lights added to the ambiance.There was a Specials board with a variety of choices, all sounded delicious.I had the beef Wellington which came with herby mash potato and vegetables.They did a smaller portion of the crab salad for one of our party who isn't a big eater which was kindly done without a fuss.Although we were full we were tempted to icecream dessert. The honeycomb flavour was delicious with decent size pieces of honeycomb.The waitress was excellent and helped to make the evening a huge success.Thursdays there is a curry night £30 for two people which included a drink.We will most certainly be returning.

Very good. Lovely meal, excellent service and good beer. Great value.

Nice atmosphere,we sat in the conservatory for light lunch. Huge, tasty sandwiches. As a vegetarian they kindly made me something that wasnt on the menu. Would recommend

Visited today and it's been far to long since our last visit the food was very good the staff very friendly and the cheesecake was amazing one of the best I've ever had, we will definitely be returning soon.

This place is unbelievably good! I had the cheddar and steak pie, switched the mash for chips with veggies. It was delicious. My friend had the braised lamb, the flavour was beautiful. We arrived at 5:30pm for an early meal, so it was quiet when we arrived. Very friendly staff and owner. I will be coming back asap.

We visited today, and wow the staff were fantastic and friendly, with young children they adapted brilliantly to our children's needs. The food was presented well, and the food was to a high standard will definitely be returning even though the kids made a mess.10/10 service well done team keep it up.

Me, my nan and grandad visited today for the first time ever and it's safe to say we will be coming back. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious. They were so nice to my nans dog too, even when she was lippy.Absolutely lovely place and staff.....definitely recommend....

We arrived as a party of 12 and most of us had at least 2 courses. There were no complaints from any member. I had the the minted lamb and vegetables which were freshly cooked. Polite and efficient staff!

Staff are very nice and accomodating for any reasonable changes to the order.The food itself was overall generous in portion size, quality varied depending on the meal itself , for example the lasagna and pie dishes were good, the burger was basic. Overall I would go back and prices are good. 👍
