Warm, welcoming pub with good foodWe had a lovely lunch and the restaurant was able to accommodate us on short notice.The ploughman’s was a little bit small (or a little bit expensive) for was was received and we did need to wait for over 40 minutes for food to arrive.Everything was tasty and we enjoyed dessert as well.

Lovely staff a friendly greet. The food was lovely good size portions and hot. Very old pub you must visit you will not be disappointed.

Well staffed well run pub very clean with two open fires and with a nice well balanced menu.. Very good Sunday lunch atmosphere.

We have been to The Plough on numerous occasions and each time our experience is excellent. The food is delicious and the staff are fantastic. Polite and always professional. Definitely worth a visit.

An amazing eating experience.Service was great, food was amazing and for me the best burger I've had from a independent pub!My only grip is it gets busy quick and parking could be a problem - but this can't be helped..Well done the plough 👏

Three of us plus one dog came for a meal yesterday on a friend's recommendation. We were really impressed. We sat by the large back window, looking across at the stunning view. Our meals were fantastic. They were tasty, beautifully presented and the veggie/vegan options were brilliant. The service was excellent and we didn't wait long for our drinks or our meals. The staff were really friendly and made us feel at home. Will definitely visit again when we're in the area.

Stopped in for dinner last night and a few drinks as we're staying just up the road for the weekend. Very welcoming, friendly team. My husband had the burger and I had the fish and chips. Neither of us were disappointed, cooked to perfection and all local produce! Will most definitely visit again and recommend to others!

Excellent prompt service. My fish and chips were So good, accompanied with mushy peas and tartar sauce. Delicious!! My wife enjoyed her Caeser salad (although a mix of leaves would have been even better) Dinner and drinks for well under £20 per person, in a great setting, with social distancing and masks worn by staff. All good and thoroughly recommended.

Great! Popped in for a drink on way home, food looked great so stayed for a starter. Everything made in the kitchen from the relish, dressings, ham hock was delicious. Will be back for main course soon! Super friendly staff.
